Italian food lovers can rejoice: Emmy-Award winning celebrity chef Giada De Laurentiis has opened her first-ever restaurant, GIADA inside The Cromwell.
This charming Las Vegas restaurant welcomes diners with warm colors, comfortable furniture and natural lighting thanks to the restaurant’s huge retractable windows. Guests can eat in the dining room, lounge or at window tables, boasting breathtaking views of the Bellagio fountains and Caesars Palace.
The menu consists of Italian cuisine with refreshing, Californian influences. GIADA adds a lighter touch to Italian dishes, all while staying true to classic Italian recipes.

This must have been an off night. If you are accustom to other business casual/high end restaurants on the strip...this is not. It is more casual dining. Baseball hats, shorts, casual. They were having a dining table photo shoot right next to us yhe entire meal. Windows open and loud traffic from the strip. Not sure I will return.

The scallop risotto was incredible! The roasted broccolini was tough and difficult to chew. The tiramisu was good, but different than other tiramisu desserts that I’ve had. Overall, a good experience.

We did the fixe menu and were really disappointed, one salad came out without salad dressing. The prawn on the spaghetti was overcooked, the pasta was bland, there was no cheese for us to add which is odd for an Italian restaurant. My husband got the chicken parm which was burned and had a bone in it, I had halibut that was so tough I needed a knife. We did wine pairing but the wines were mixed up. The dessert was excellent. Just really disappointed, we’ve been here before and the food has been excellent. Won’t be back.

Food is great I’m just disappointed that they’ve lost their authentic cacio e pepe recipe. They now put heavy cream in it and that’s not a true Italian way of doing that dish. It turns it into a fancy Alfredo. Just disappointed. But if you don’t care that it’s fake Italian, it’s still good.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Giada’s this week. Our meals were amazing, unmatched anywhere else. Lemon spaghetti remains a favorite. Our server Michael was attentive without being intrusive. Definite dinner destination in Vegas!
