Exceptional food. I got the short rib, my husband got the flat iron steak and both were so yummy. Great atmosphere with live music on Saturday night. Would definitely recommend.
My girlfriend and I were looking for a nice place to listen to live music and have some nice cocktails and Geraldine’s definitely didn’t disappoint! We both had a few cocktails and had some food and loved it all! Music was great. Will definitely be coming back again.
Service was not good. Our waitress would drop off a water upon arrival but not acknowledge you or make eye contact aka she was too busy to. But simply stating she would be right back would have been good enough, we had to ask for the main things like refills of water, silverware. It seemed as if she had tables way too far from each other so hard for her to maintain? Food was good thank goodness
Keith our server was amazing
We were enjoying a nice brunch and the food was great, however there was a live music performance that made our conversations difficult. The extremely loud music and drums would’ve been great in any other setting but a Sunday morning brunch.
This place was amazing!! Great spot to eat farm to table. The drinks were great and handcrafted-even my LIT tasted perfectly mixed. "The Breezy" was delish!!! The music was good and not too loud. I would recommend this spot if you are looking for a nice date night that has all the ATX ambiance and vibes that a local Austinite or out-of-towner would enjoy.
Service was spotty- our waitress was not making any effort, her nearby partner ended up doing most of the work. Food was mediocre, to be honest. It did come very quickly, which was great! Two of our party commented on how warm the Bloody Mary mix was, but other cocktails were delicious. Ambiance was five stars! jazz band at brunch is amazing and the band really set the scene. Would come back for the scene and espresso Martini, not necessarily the food or service.
We were there for brunch. We didn’t realize it was housed in a hotel. We usually avoid hotel restaurants. The service was poor, we ordered a pastry basket, it came out without the butter. Then biscuits that should have come with pastries arrived with entree. The service was extremely slow all around even though it was far from COVID full. The live music was perfect for the venue. And a beautiful view of Town Lake on a sunny Sunday morning. The food was fine.
Love this place! The food was so so good!! The place is very aesthetically pleasing any would definitely come back here
Great place to experience local favorites. A taste of Austin, the sights of Austin, and the sounds of Austin.
This is one of my favorite Austin spots, it’s perfect for a nice date or dinner with the girls. Expect to be treated like a priority by the whole staff, they’re so attentive and kind! The food is amazing, especially the broccolini. And I can’t recommend their Aviation cocktail enough.
Food was delicious!!! We had the sweet potatoes, shishito peppers, and broccolini and all of it was amazing. Our waitress was great - super friendly and informative and made sure we had everything we needed. Sadly they’re under construction so we couldn’t enjoy the view, but we’ll be back and can take a peek then!
Food was shareable small plates style. Great flavors. The bread pudding was a custard version of the original, which was fantastic. The chicken was flavorful and seasoned perfectly, but on the smaller side. Be wary on what time you would like to book. The restaurant should not allow dining reservations after 830 pm. Booked a 9pm dinner reservation on a Thursday for Chicken/bubbles/blues night. Everything was fantastic until we were informed the kitchen closes at 930 pm, 30 mins after we sat down. Last call for drinks was around 945 pm. Was a very rushed “hurry up and eat” experience. Band stopped playing at 930 as well.
The food and service was impeccable! Came for my birthday and was amazing!
Great food, live music, service. We went for Thursday Birds, Bubbles, and Blues.
Went there for my girlfriend’s 35th birthday
Our server was very knowledgeable and the food was incredible!!
Food wasn’t that good
Thursday nights is great music with Jo James while dining on the nice assortment of small shareable plates, as well as the incredible fried chicken. We go every week.
Excellent menu selection, Appetizer to dessert. Service attentive, yet not obtrusive. Top of Hotel Renaissance. Overlooks town lake. Great for sunset view. Orchestra area.
Truly exceptional. From the food to the service to the ambiance, Geraldine's delivers. We enjoyed the special fried chicken menu so much that we went to brunch on Sunday before flying out. Everything exceeded our expectations and my friends, family, and even my picky children, had nothing but rave reviews. Highly recommend.
Bar tender exceptional
A fun place for a dye or hang with friends! Great food and amazing atmosphere
The service was slow and food only ok. Overall wasn't too impressed.
There was supposed to
Great service and atmosphere. We were looking forward to dinner and some blues music. After waiting a couple of hours drinking overpriced cocktails we finally left.
Brunch was ok. Not the place for special occasion arrangements. The avocado toast was decent. Entertainment was outstanding. Overpriced and overrated.
The ambiance, food and music was wonderful. Very relaxing atmosphere. We will definitely be back.
Good overall, but the water smelled funky, like pond water.
Love the cocktails, food, wine menu and live music. One of my favorite places in Austin!
Great place for tasty drinks, solid cuisine, and folks that enjoy music.
I went for my birthday with my husband and some family, our waiter was on his game with food and drink options and suggestions. Fantastic service overall, service and price were as we expected for the location and will definitely go again. Food tasted fresh and amazing melt in your mouth food!🥰
Fantastic food, wine and ambiance. They really take care of you as a guest and worth the price!
Celebrated My wife’s birthday and our Anniversary!
Excellent service and original cuisines.
Overall experience was great. The iffy item was a “special” that was three-4 small pieces of bland fried chicken for $38-39. That was really excessive. Our steak and sides were fantastic as were the drinks and service.
The food took over an hour to come out. They stated the kitchen was backed up, but it looked like only 15% of the restaurant was occupied. The manager was avoiding us, and never apologized for the long wait, overcooked eggs, and mixed up orders. The ambiance was amazing, even the entertainment was great, but the overall dining experience was very poor.
I’ve been to geraldines several times and the experience we had on Sunday was shocking. We waited over an hour for our food and when our food arrived, not only was it wrong but also cold!
Our servers only checked on us twice while we were there and there were several times we had to chase her down because our drinks were empty.
A few of us ordered the BLT and it was basically eating a subway sandwich that cost $16.
If this was my first time at this restaurant, I never would go back.
