Disappointed in the experience for the holiday and my family since I drove in town from New England to enjoy this time and dining experience. Too loud and placed in front of an unofficial buffet with my grandmother in a wheelchair. People were bumping into us and maneuvering around us with their food and placed right in front of the stage with a jazz band. Restaurant never communicated buffet as the only choice!

The shrimp and grits was delicious and the fried chicken was legit. Can't wait to again and try some of their other dishes.

I've eaten at Georgia Reese's many times and have been delighted by the food. I haven't been in a couple months, but it has really tanked. To start, my reservation was not honored. Then, the service was so slow, that it was ridiculous. Then, some of the order did not come out. The real problem was the food. The catfish was undercooked and inedible. The fish tacos were also not prepared correctly. I won't eat here again until I hear that things have changed. I sincerely doubt they will. I'm not sure, but I think the focus is now on the downtown location. Too bad.

The last time my family dined there it was a really good experience. This time the food was decent but the wait staff was horrible and slow

Food was good. But wasn't able to enjoy the dessert we ordered because we had to leave the rest of our party before dessert came out. We ordered dessert 20 minutes before we had to leave. The 20 minutes went past and the waiter never came by to tell us what was taking so long. Two of us had to leave and the last person at the table got to enjoy the dessert and said it was at least another 5 minutes after we left before it came out. No dessert should take 25 minutes to be served. Per our third person our server kept apologizing and said that the kitchen got swamped with entrees. I understand that but he should have come out and let us know. We would've have cancelled the order. But he never did. Service was attentive for some things, maybe too much (water glasses would be filled after only a sip or too). But lax on communication about the dessert was a minor failure. We will come back again for another try.

The best part of the buffet was the fried chicken, fried fish, and jambalaya. The breakfast items were sub standard. The mimosas werea sugary concoction of juice grenadine, and I suspect they were virgin. The peach cobbler wasa gooeymess made worth canned peaches . They did have a lovely singer witha beautiful voice

We had eaten at the downtown Georgia Reese's and had a wonderful time. It seemed reasonable to expect a similar experience at the north side location, but we were wrong. Our server tried his best, but was stretched too thin to adequately care for our party of four. The food that was so inspired and flavorful downtown was tired and just shy of adequate. We will probably return to Georgia Reese's downtown, but will not be going to the north side location unless substantial changes are made. I really want these restaurants to succeed, so I hope that Mr. Brackett can devote himself to getting this location back on track.

The food was average, but a bit pricey for what you receive. The best thing on the menu are the sides. Overall, the service was extremely slow. It took 2 hours for a table of 4. We would have ordered more drinks and dessert if not for the very slow service.

Our meal was delicious! We each had a different entree and dessert so we could share. Fried chicken-what can I say-light crisp coating, well-seasoned and juicy. Cajun shrimp and cheesy grits-very flavorful with large shrimp. Our sides were seasoned well, just like mom made. The desserts were sinful. Warm peach cobbler and Bananas Foster bread pudding, oh my! Wait staff was very attentive, our beverages were never empty. He stopped frequently to see if everything was satisfactory. Music in the background was not too loud so conversation was easy. Will definitely return to try other entrees and sides on the menu. A very enjoyable and filling evening!!
