Convenient, but nicer restaurants nearby. Will not go back.

We went to Genevieve's for dinner before the Hot Sardines' show. Perfect choice: interesting menu options, fantastic service, nice and close to the music venue.

This is a great convenience for those coming to Peace Center for a concert. Food selection is limited but food we had was good. Waiters are very cordial and do best to keep up. Technology allows to process credit card payments promptly without making you late for the concert. We were offered to pre-order coffee for intermission. It was already waiting for us, cooled off, but waitress offered to refresh with hot (maybe they sat it out a bit early?). Coffee was very average; dessert very unremarkable: carrot cake was not a moist version but sweet-bread like with few pieces of carrots. Would come back (and recommend) for before-concert convenient small-bites type of light meal but not coffee/dessert, unless they change coffee/dessert menu. Flavors and presentation of appertizers were great. Dessert and coffee needs more flare - decaf cappuchino or irish coffee, coffee&baileys, cheesecake or perhaps items from local bakeries

My husband and I and another couple had reservations at Genevieve's for 5:30, prior to the start of one of the broadway series shows at 6:30. Being in the same building, it would seem that one hour prior to the show should have been enough time to eat and get to the show on time, but it was not.

On the positive side, the food was excellent in both presentation and taste. Our waitress was pleasant and accommodating.

On the negative side, our four plates came to the table at widely different times, so that one couple ended up eating while the other couple waited. The final plate barely arrived in time to be eaten before having to leave for the show. To her credit, the waitress did not charge us for the fourth plate, but it would have been so much more pleasant if it had arrived in time to enjoy.

Overall, we liked Genevieve's, but think that they should have been better prepared to handle a crowd that was there to eat before seeing a show.

only issue we had was that we requested the bill at 6 pm since the show at the Peace center started at 6.30. asked 2 additional times before we got it at 6.20 and had to rush for our seats. the purpose of eating there is to convenient to the show.

Great location inside the Peace Center making this a very convenient spot to eat pre-show. The food is tapas style and the menu changes each show so you can experience something new fairly often. Cocktails are inventive and fun. The intermission service is a wonderful perk as well.

My daughter and I had dinner here before "Newsies" on Friday night and very much enjoyed our dinner and our server was a sweetheart! We had the hamburger which was honestly the best we have ever had! I had 2 glasses of house Chardonnay and it was wonderful plus my daughter had coffee and she loved the rich taste of the flavor!
All in all we certainly had a great time show was outstanding and our little red headed young lady who was our server was "spot on" all evening!
Beautifully decorated for the holidays and we really had the Best time!
