The first signs of Spring have arrived in full bloom across the country. It is this seasonal shift that has inspired our new set lunch menu, featuring Gaucho classics and spring favourites alike. Crispy prawns with a spicy aji amarillo sauce and pickled onions are the perfect complement to the warming weather before diving into a Gaucho staple rump steak with a generous helping of chips and chimichurri sauce. Or, opt for the pan-fried sea bream with a lively salsa verde and rocket salad before indulging in a sweet Dulce de Leche pancake with a scoop of banana split ice cream. Join us from 12:00 – 16:00 at your favourite Gaucho to explore for yourself. Two courses for just £17.95, or three for £19.95.

Mixed experience in what is now a more modernised environment compared to my previous visits. The main course was significantly delayed, and when my steak finally arrived, it was barely warm. I had to ask for a steak knife, and was told the one I had was their steak knife, though they did eventually bring a sharper one. Unfortunately, the steak itself was undercooked (not medium rare as requested) and quite difficult to cut. Dessert was fine, and the service was generally good, although I did find myself looking around for someone a few times when we needed assistance. As this was a business meal, I chose not to make a fuss at the time out of respect for the others I was with, but overall, I found the experience underwhelming.

Food was great, nice spot when you need space for bussines meeting. Waiter was attentive and didn't put pressure. Will be back

We have been regular visitors to Gaucho Chancery Lane, as we’ve always found it to be one of the best steakhouses in London. However, our Valentine’s Day experience was deeply disappointing. From the start, it was clear that the restaurant was severely understaffed. The waiting time between courses was unacceptable—40 minutes between each dish, which completely disrupted the flow of the meal. The quality of the food was also below their usual standard. Our starter was undercooked, with the dough still soggy. When our mains finally arrived, the steak was overcooked, despite requesting medium rare. Given our past experiences, this was a real letdown. The biggest issue was the lack of service. While we understand it was a busy evening, we felt that the focus was more on maximizing revenue than maintaining quality. The 13% service charge felt entirely unjustified as the total time a server spent at our table was under three minutes. Overall, this was not the level of experience we expect from Gaucho, and certainly not for a special occasion. We hope they address their staffing and service issues, as this visit was far from what we’ve come to appreciate from this restaurant.

Got to try the new winter set lunch menu for free. Food was fantastic and great value for money. Service from Renato was amazing and want to give him a shout-out. Love this place!

The service was very pleasant and helpful with the choice of wines. The marinated fillet steak was absolutely delicious as were the hand made chips. The green salad was a bit tired but generally the food was excellent and the atmosphere enjoyable.
