   The staff and food was amazing. Made it a very romantic evening for my girlfriends birthday. The lighting was a little darker than I would typically care for, but everything else was wonderful and the food was delicious

   Service was excellent, from the front door to the wait staff. Our food was not only plated to appeal to our senses but it was of impeccable taste. The food options and servings made dining easy and the drink options are hard to chose from. I’ll dine here every time I visit Savannah

   This was our annual girls trip for St Patrick’s Day in Savannah, GA. This was our 1st time & it was fantastic. Our server-Susan- was exceptional & the food fabulous.

   I made a reservation for 4 people over a month ago for a Birthday celebration. I requested a booth downstairs. When we arrived we were informed that our booth had been given to someone else in error & we would have to sit upstairs. This created a very difficult situation because one person in our party was handicapped & going up & down stairs was extremely difficult. No apology was given & it was a “take it or leave it attitude”!! I was very embarrassed in front of our guests & very disappointed in Garibaldi’s attitude. This has always been our favorite restaurant in Savannah but I will not be returning any time soon.

   The food was incredible. Service was great. Atmosphere was wonderful. While we like a little time in between courses being served, we felt like there was just a little too much. Hardly a complaint. We will be back again very soon. We had a pleasant time.

    Food and service was good however had a bad bottle of wine. Talk to manager and did little to mitigate the issue. I accepted the wine so it was my issue.

    We were a small party of three. We each ordered something different, and spent the dinner stealing bites of each others food because EVERYthing was delicious. I had the flounder (unbelievably delicious), my friend had the seafood Alfredo, and the other friend ordered the lamb from the appetizers. It was a huge portion! Everything was top notch.

    Food great! Friendly, polite server but service was extremely slow. Waited at our reserved table for an hour before receiving drinks! Bread basket didn’t arrive until asking twice. Canceled 2nd beverage due to finishing our meal before it arrived. Felt that a nearby table, drinking high dollar wine & champagne, received much more attention.

    Greeted upon arrival , & seated within a minute or two. Varied menu & spirits selections. Following a delicious, fresh Caesar salad, we enjoyed sautéed scallops & glazed salmon dinners, prepared perfectly, & accompanied by perfect risotto & vegetables. We shared key lime cheesecake…light & the perfect ending!

    I love eating at Garabaldi's there are some wonderful staple dishes that have been around for more than 35 years: The Apricot Flounder (Crispy Scored Flounder), Steak Diane, Veal Piccata and Chicken Parmigiana - all great.

    We’ve been to some of the finest restaurants in Savannah on this trip. Some have been disappointing, others, like Garibaldi were a great surprise. We were happy to have listed upstairs dining room on our reservation as the downstairs was extremely loud and dim. Upstairs was like walking into an antebellum garden room with high ceilings, mirrored walls and huge potted plants. Best atmosphere in Savannah! Food was excellent. Service was a bit chaotic, like no silverware when entree was served and bottle of wine we ordered didn’t come until midway through dinner. But server was new and she apologized. Definitely on our list to repeat for the next trip!

    Food was great but the service was slow - and on a Tuesday night, so it wasn’t crazy busy. They apologized for how long the food was taking once. Then our server would never bring our check.

    The restaurant is billed as sophisticated, cuisine exceptional. Our service was poor; I had to flag my waiter too get a second drink, he did not check in to ask how appetizer was or offer a second round. At the end of dinner the waiter had not presented an invoice so I flagged a manager. Food quality was good but not exceptional. I had pear salad and stuffed sole. The noise level in the restaurant was at the shouting level. We are done with Garibaldi.

    Beautiful restaurant both upstairs and downstairs. Bartenders and waiters very nice. Loved the fried green tomato, seafood pasta and the special branzino fish. Will definitely come here again next time we are in Savannah.

    We discovered Garibaldi's about 5 years and while we don't live in Savannah, we try to get there every time we visit. The food, ambience, and most importantly, the service, are always excellent. If you've never been to Garibaldi's before, you have to try the scored flounder. That said, everything we've ever had has been great. We'd like to make special mention of our server, Sophia. She was very attentive and provided us excellent service.

    We had a 6:30 reservation and the table was ready on time. The atmosphere was intimate but very dark. Our waiter Bobby was very welcoming and professional. The oysters appetizers was delicious. Main course was fair for the price but wouldn’t order again. We order the signature praline basket for dessert. It came with a special touch for our anniversary. That was very nice. Overall experience fair to good. Most likely would try a different place next time.

    Taylor was a great server and the food was really good even though the mahi mahi and the lobster were both a little fishy... We were wished a Happy Anniversary by our server several times and also by a diner close by. It was a great experience.
