Very Nice with great food. Service was top notch.
Food was amazing, staff was helpful and funny! Would go back
Really lovely. Just need patio doors closed so breeze and cool air doesn’t impact comfortable internal climate.
We were staying at the inn so decided to try their restaurant I was very disappointed with the Gnocchi I ordered. They were very tough, chewy and nothing like gnocchi. We also ordered the stuffed chicken and while the chicken was good the purée it was placed on was gummy , overly sweet and barely warm. It was a disappointing meal
We had breakfast and it was all so so delicious! We sat outside, that was perfect , and our server was amazing, very kind , professional, and helpful ! I will definitely dine here again!
Everything was great! But specifically our waitress, April! April made our special request drinks for us, offered advice to help us decide which meals to get. The service, food and drinks were amazing and arrived quickly! I highly suggest the back garden outdoor seating, they have heaters and it's peaceful and beautiful.
We were very disappointed with the service and the quality of the food compared to what we had read on the Internet about this restaurant.
Unfortunately, we were staying at the resort as well, so we did not go back a second time but chose to eat at other restaurants in the area.
The food was delicious! I had the scallops and my wife had the burger. I think I legitimately said “mmmm” in-between every bite. Matched by the food was the service our waitress was wonderful! She was very thorough, kind, and very knowledgeable of the wine list and wineries in the area to recommend. We were shocked to hear it was only her first day on the job. We sat on the patio and it was quiet and peaceful. We will 100% be coming back again.
Gardens of Avila was really quite good. The outside seating was excellent. Great ambiance
Excellent food, service and ambiance. Would definitely recommend.
We enjoyed the dinner and would enjoy going back again.
Staff trying to get back to normal work seemed under staffed.
We met some wonderful people here. The food was very good and Hannah was a great server.
Wonderful. The service was excellent. 10 out of 10.
The food was mediocre, I was expecting a a real restaurant, not a few tables in the lobby area. Service was great though.
Amazing food and service! Beautiful scenery, will definitely be returning!
What a little gem this restaurant is...Every bite was simply delicious...great atmosphere...friendly service...an awesome place I will absolutely return to
Old tasting food. Not fresh produce. Overcooked and dry main course.
The food was okay, not great. The french fries were really good. It seemed to take a long time to get our food and it was pretty empty. We asked if we could get some crackers or bread because it was taking so long...they charge $6 for bread and butter. We won’t be returning.
Food taste great but you do not get much at all very tiny portions
Pleasant Mother’s Day breakfast! I feel like on Mother’s Day, though they should have provided a child’s menu. They did eventually accommodate us and give us an off menu meal for my 5 year old but we had some resistance initially.
I took my mom here for Mother’s Day and the experience was wonderful! The back patio has a nice ambiance and the food was DELICIOUS.
Beautiful presentation but overall average flavor, some great dishes and some mediocre. My husband had the salmon special and sea scallops and thought his own preparation of both is better. Brussels sprouts were perfect. Gnocchi was undercooked. Kids burger and fries were huge and delicious. Dessert was yummy. Resort grounds and patio seating (especially out back) is gorgeous. But you could smell the sulfur tubs and the mosquitoes were out the night we were there. I suggest some citronella candles.
Server was excellent but the food was mediocre for the price.
This was the perfect place to celebrate our 19th anniversary. The food was superb and the atmosphere beautiful. The back patio seating was our favorite with nice music and heaters at every table.
The food was wonderful and the service was great! Sitting next to the fire place has a cozy feel. I will come back again.
Wonderful restaurant. The food was delicious. Atmosphere wonderful and we had an excellent server named Moses.
Our server Moses was great - however he could have used more help. Hard to staff properly during these times; we understand that.
The restaurant was cold, but they let us close the doors which helped. We both ordered the filet mignon at medium rare, and the centers of both steaks were inedibly rare. Like nearly raw. The waitress did ask if they were cooked to our liking, but unfortunately we didn’t have time to wait for them to be redone so we just kept them as-is and ate around that part. The menu says it comes with a “loaded baked potato, sour cream, chives, bacon, and butter” but what we got was a baked potato not cut open with no butter, some sort of horseradish/sour cream sauce over the top, and some bacon on top of that. It was very odd. I will say that the Brussels sprouts were DELICIOUS! All-in-all, it was definitely not a good meal for how expensive it was, and I think we would choose to eat elsewhere in the future.
In general we were disappointed. It's a lovely setting, but 2 of our items were dry and overcooked. It also took a long time to receive our food. Given the prices we expected much more.
This was my first time at this restaurant. I was hesitant to eat at the restaurant where I was staying for the weekend. Mainly because usually hotel restaurant is pricey and overrated. I was totally wrong. Great food, service, and environment. Cocktails were awesome and food was amazing. Our waitress was Dana and she was very nice and kind. Try their wagu burger. You won't regret. Also, burrata cheese appetizer.
My wife and I spent $151 (without tip) for a total of two Margarita “martinis”, one appetizer, one salad, two entrees, and one dessert. The scallops and halibut entrees were perfectly prepared and nicely plated. The chocolate mousse cake dessert, the crab stuffed mushroom appetizer, and the salad were good. The cocktail was fair. The ambiance was nice except that we were next to the parking lot, albeit a tree lined lot with singing birds. The table-side heaters were perfect for a cool night and the service couldn’t have been better. It was a pleasant and relaxing dinner with creative and tasty food .
The crab stuffed mushrooms as a starter were amazing. The $18 wagu burger was exceptional. Wine list is extensive with many local options. Great place to go on a date or to take adult friends .
Appetizers were amazing she always came around to ask if we needed anything and our drinks never went low. The conversation was also pleasant.
We had the most lovely dinner and loved our waitresses suggestions and service. We will be back.
I was mostly plaleased. My filet came out very undercooked. The server saw and agreed it was under cooked. He comped me a dessert, but I only ate part of the steak. I had the Brussels appetizer and had more Brussels and a not so great baked potato with the steak. I did pay full price for the entire, but recommend you do more to train your staff to handle that tight. Offer to remove the plate. Offer a substitution right away. Remove the item from the bill without being asked. I would have been very pleased with my experience. Mistakes happen. Followup matters.
We had a lovely dinner with welcoming, warm, and friendly service. The brussel sprouts appetizer was amazingly delicious, out of this world! The Butternut Squash Gnoccis were outstanding! We had a lovely evening. Thank you so much!
Dana is amazing! Friendly service with delicious food. We will be back!
First time in this area and really appreciated the friendly service and suggestions. We want to thank of their gentlemen that helped us and gave us suggestions to go over the bridge and have some wine. The scenery was beautiful and very quiet. No city noise.
Great location, great waiter but very poorly made food and overpriced for the poor quality of the food. food was overcooked and cold, we were 4 patrons and we all had the same issue. It was not busy, so what was the excuse? Not recommend the restaurant, Sycamore Spring otherwise is great!!
