We dined prior to a show at Ridgefield playhouse. Attentive service that became less attentive once seats began to fill up. Disappointed with the pear salads quality, iceberg lettuce a few pieces of walnuts and a few pieces of Gorgonzola. Calamari was nice but lacked a sufficient portion for the $. Whole roasted Branzino was ordered and we only got 1 filet not 2? NY strip was also small for the price. Lasagna was served in a casserole with no real character. Sorry I'm just being frank.

Great service great food so fresh! Outdoors patio ambiance was nice but a little too loud but overall a great place We will continue to visit Thanks!

I had the special black and white fettuccini with soft shell crab and crab meat. It was delicious. My companions had the special veal with mozzarella and prosciutto which was also fabulous. Salads and eggplant melanzane appetizers were also very good. Mousse cake and bread pudding for dessert were also very good. This is one of our regular restaurants and the food is always top notch.

Our food was DELICIOUS, especially my lemon risotto. My limoncelllo spritz was smashing, and the ambiance was perfect for our trio to enjoy ourselves. While our servers were delightful people, it took a while for someone to take our order, to bring the pepper and parmesan once we had our meals and had requested it, and to return to see if we needed another drink or something extra. The young man who brought the bread, cleared our plates, and filled our take-home bag was quite attentive. In the grand scheme of things, these are first world "problems," so none of it was very concerning. Highly recommend Gallo to anyone who enjoys good, Amalfi Coast-style dining.

Took my wife for her Birthday with a couple friends. We shared the calamari appetizer as well as the prosciutto and buratta with grilled asparagus special. Both were fantastic. I had the cod entrees and my wife had the chicken, both were excellent!

food remains excellent at this ridgefield go to. menu doesn't change much but that means favorites are always there.

Always a satisfying experience. A little more quiet than usual for a Sat. nite- which we appreciated. Our waitress was a real “pro”.
