The Gabriel Archer Tavern was built in 1987 on footprints of an old farm shed. Today, its mission is to provide a memorable farm-to-table dining experience that's both delicious and nourishing.

In addition to a half-acre produce garden and greenhouse on site where lettuces and herbs will be grown, our chef works hard to find local farmers as partners in producing a menu oriented towards fresh and seasonal specialties.

Our wide variety of fresh selections from our unique menu will guarantee that everyone in your party leaves with a smile.

The food at Gabriel Archer Tavern is always delicious. The chef is creative with the menu and the meal is always enjoyable. The Bourbon and Burger pairing is a hit!

Service was great . The wine was wonderful. The ambience was perfect. The couscous could have been great except I’m pretty sure it was over peppered. All I could taste was black pepper and it overwhelmed the rest of the spices. Crab cakes, charcuterie , and salmon were great. Felt a little rushed. If they want you out by eight they shouldn’t allow a 7:30 seating, especially for a fine dining experience.

It was our first trip to the Gabriel Archer's Tavern and it was a pleasure. Noise level was a little loud but otherwise, it was superb. Service, view of the vineyard, and food were all great.

This restaurant sits on a vineyard. Our experience was absolutely fantastic. Wait staff was friendly, food was delicious, beverage selection exceeded our expectations. They have more than just wine on the menu during meal times. After brunch, with full bellies, we went to the winery where they have several different spaces to sit and taste a variety of types of wine extending from sparkling to Malbec. If you’re not a wine drinker, grab a cocktail from the restaurant OR delight yourself with some brews from the fridge which is also stocked with Pepsi products, Perrier, and cocktails in cans. Overall an exceptional experience. 10/10 would recommend. No notes.

My husband and I went for a late lunch to celebrate our anniversary and it was magical sitting on the front patio with shade and abundant greenery. He had the salmon tacos and I had the flatbread. We paired with the winery’s petit verdot and it was delicious. Service was attentive, yet unobtrusive. We will definitely be returning!

We love Gabriel Archer Tavern. They don’t have a large lunch menu but sufficient variety and the food itself is great. Service is always outstanding and the ambiance is great for an afternoon date.

We had a truly fine dinner with gracious service from Jenna, a multi-tasking pro. She was juggling a lot of balls on a busy Friday evening but made us feel welcome and attended. Our orecchiette and braised ribs entrees were superb. Flavorful and satisfying, with plenty of tender meat mixed with perfectly done pasta. The spinach salad was also good, as was the warm bread. Cannoli for dessert was a perfect ending. The suggested wine pairings for the salad and entrees were well matched. The Trianon, the winery's reserve Cabernet Franc, was especially good. We would have wished for a bit more ambience. The main dining room appears to be an older enclosed patio with sliding doors and when full, conversation is near impossible. It's very casual, which is most likely appreciated by the winery's many visitors. Ambience aside, we'd come back for the great food and wine.
