Simcoe County Restaurants

147 is one of our absolute favorite restaurants. The food is delicious (they just won the Top Chef Barrie Award this year) and the ambience is lively and upbeat. Service is terrific with a knowledgeable and friendly staff. HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU TRY 147.

This was our first time at Il Buco and we were delighted. The welcome was warm, the service and the food were both excellent. There is a good variety of options and with a Sicilian chef it is genuinely Italian, great flavours and well presented. We loved the mussels, the veal mare and monti and the chicken Marsala. If you are a first time visitor it is a little difficult to find; there is ample parking at the rear entrance in the parking lot to the north of Simcoe St. near the Bayfield St end and there is an elevator if needed but you need to ask for the code to enter that part of the building.

It was a very nice dinner out. Date night special was excellent and having live music that wasn’t too loud was a treat. This restaurant will be on our regular to go to list. We highly recommend it.

Fantastic love that booth lots of room for apps and drinks. Pam looked after us again she is so attentive . Food and other staff service always visible and helpful. Thanks again for a great night.

Other than the noise level I’d highly recommend this Kelsey’s. Good service very pretty waitress everything good. Just couldn’t talk very much due to noise level. It was very full. Thank goodness we made reservations!
