Food was excellent however the service was rushed. Plates were cleared as each person finished eating rather than waiting for all at the table to finish. Main was brought to the table while we were still eating our salad. We would not return or recommend to friends.

We had a great first experience at Fried Grren Tomatoes. We ate at the bar which was had two TVs tuned to sports channels and enjoyed great appetizers with a cold and crisp salad while watching golf. Will define return the next time we’re in town!

Madison was an excellent server - personable, attentive without being intrusive, efficient. The food (scallops and meatloaf) was delicious. The cozy atmosphere fit our anniversary vibe well.

Recommended as one of the best restaurants in Galena we found "Fried Green Tomatoes" did not dissappoint. The lovely waitress started us off with a generous helping of bread and a delicious olive oil to dip it in. The dishes we ordered (Cauliflower steak, fried green tomatoes and scampi marscarpone ravioli) were really tasty, the mussels a tiny bit overcooked but still yum. I like the inside setting more then the outdoor seaiting area which is situated along a street that can become noisy. Will return! Thank you for an excellent dinner
