Was looking forward to a great experience, was not disappointed. Very comfortable room, with interesting wall art on original quarry-stone walls. I had seared Scallops - perfectly prepared. My wife had Walleye which I got a healthy sample from. The salad was crisp and fresh with tiny sweet peppers I had not tasted before. Asparagus was cooked crisp as if fresh picked from a garden. Oh, and a Russian River Valley Chardonnay with dinner.... :-) For dessert we had Raspberry cheesecake - finished with a shared Jamison Irish coffee. A wonderful date night with my wife of 51 years ;-)

This was our second time eating at this restaurant and we were not disappointed. The host was friendly and attentive. Our server, Spencer was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. He stopped by our table after each course was served to ensure everything was to our liking. We started with the Fried Green Tomatoes - a must when you dine here. I ordered the lasagna, and my husband ordered the pork osso buco - both were outstanding! The entrees came with a generous salad with a variety of berries and vegetables topped with a raspberry vinaigrette dressing. For dessert, we were intrigued by the special of pineapple creme Brule. It came in a pineapple (which was sliced in half) and the cored-out fruit was made into the creme Brule and put back into the pineapple. It was refreshing and delicious. We visit Galena once a year and we always make sure to stop at this restaurant. You will not be disappointed - excellent staff, fantastic food and wonderful atmosphere!

The food and service were very nice. Tasty dishes and attentive service. Unfortunately, our experience (and others in the room as well) were greatly affected by a large and clearly inebriated group of people. They were talking so loudly at one another, and it made it very difficult for other diners to enjoy the otherwise pleasant environment. While the restaurant can't be blamed for having loud patrons, I was surprised when a first - then second round of drinks were served - that IS a management issue.

We had a wonderful dinner at Fried Green Tomatoes! The osso buco was perfectly cooked—tender, flavorful, and falling off the bone. The lasagna was also fantastic—rich, cheesy, and full of flavor. Great food and a warm, inviting atmosphere. Highly recommend!
