Located on the edge of the village of East Hampton, the space is an airy, sky lit room featuring a wall of French doors overlooking a landscaped patio with a fountain where one may enjoy outdoor dining under a pergola. In the dining room, there is a long upholstered banquette along the opposite wall and a sleek zinc bar on the back wall anchors the space.

Jeff was great.
We enjoyed our dinner very much at Fresno. The service was very attentive and very courteous.
The wine pours were a little skimpy but otherwise a very nice dining experience.
One of our favorite spots for great food and service, Fresno offers a great Prix Fixe.
Service was awesome and food was excellent. I highly recommend.
I have been here a handful of times and everytime the food and the atmosphere are amazing. Everyone we encountered was friendly and just on top of it. The food as very well thought out and delicious. My husband had the veal special and it was cooked and seasoned to perfection, the accompaniments were amazing. I had the fluke crudo to start which was amazingly flavorful and then the tilefish in the dashi. So simple, so yum! Hats off to the kitchen staff and Chef Gretchen. All around great meal which is hard to find on the east end sometimes.
reliably delicious, friendly and helpful staff, with a wonderful early pre fixe menu that's tough to beat
We eat at Fresno often during the summer. Usually, the food is good but getting a decent table is always a challenge. I don't know why but the continued situation is ruining our appetite for Fresno.
High-quality ingredients are a hallmark of this restaurant. There is a limited menu of appetizers, salads, meat, fish, vegan with nightly specials but everything is delicious. Good wine list, cocktails and desserts.
Excellent Food and attentive staff. Sat out side on the deck. Appetizers were delicious. They ha light fare like burgers, to fish and stake on the menu. Everything wasweld prepared.
Fresno is one of my go-to restaurants. The food, the service, the atmosphere is always on point. Chef runs a tight ship and it shows in the consistency of the cuisine.
Always great! Looking forward to another summer st Fresno!
Very nice place, casual and elegant. Food and drinks were very good, not overpriced but definitely on the slightly expensive side for comparable spots. Sat in the enclosed outdoor area which felt airy and welcoming. Service was excellent.
First time and would definitely go back , great meal , service and I can avoid 27 getting there .
I met a dear old friend and lucky for me, she suggested Fresno—a restaurant I have always loved and never had a bad meal or experience in.
Neither of us knew it was Restaurant Week, and that was such an added treat!
The 3 course meal was only $27.95 per person. We shared everything. A salad and green hummus with delicious hot pita bread to start. Both were wonderful. The hummus had such a refreshing kick—delicious blending of flavors, jalapeño among different spices. For main courses, we had the hangar steak and the salmon. Yum!! Both were truly delicious and cooked perfectly. Dessert was fabulous as well—coconut cake and some kind of coconut chocolate dessert. The cocktails were perfectly mixed, Grey Goose and just a splash of Ginger Beer.
The ambiance was so serene yet vibrant and everyone serving us were gracious, super efficient and attentive.
And Michael, one of the owners, is a wonderful restauranteur! He is always on top of things and charming and a pleasure to see. He has s very creative and innovative. The whole team at Fresno, from Chef to wait staff is stellar! Will come back again and again and very soon!
Always reliable, comfortable and one of East Hampton's best.
Great place. I go there often Varied menu. Small. Outdoor area in summer
Restaurant week 2018. Food, service and atmosphere were great for the value.
Fave restaurant in East Hampton! Locals’s secret hangout. Many changes seasonally and locally sourced - creative and delish!
Less then stellar service. The staff is quite rude and stood less then 5 feet away from our table commenting on our guests. They were not attentive to the table and we had to ask to have the table cleared between courses. For the most part Food was over seasoned and not edible.
We just got married and this was going back to one of our first dates
LOVE. LOVE. LOVE.
Fresno is always great. I love the atmosphere. It's warm and inviting. The service and food are always top notch. They have the BEST pommes frites! And the prix fixe is a deal! Fresno never disappoints!
It is a lovely dining room with great food.
Fresno off season is wonderful. The food was delicious and although it was noisy, unlike a July-August experience, table talk was possible. Friendly staff make you feel welcome. We will certainly do it again, but will probably stick to off season.
It was a blustery night in East Hampton last Friday, but Fresno offered a warm sanctuary of great food and cozy atmosphere. We have come quite often and are always glad we did.
Great job on the Scallops Special chef.
Been here several times and always well worth it. One of my favorites in EH
Great restaurant, service and food. In the midst of a N'or Easter, we found a special place.
Last night was a wonderful evening. The restaurant was quiet, service was relaxed and the food was everything it should be. Wish it would stay like this instead of being a magnet for the rude and wealthy city-fools who tend to be loud, rude and abusive.
Had a $10 open table reward rejected by the owner. It was by MasterCard. He said his system wouldn’t accept it.
I use open table a lot. Why if I can’t get my reward. Who can I call to discuss
Not quite the value. We had $30 price fixe that includes appetizer and entree. $5 more for dessert. The food is somewhat American mixed with Asian and really think it would be better as american. Butternut squash soup mixed with miso tasted like a mistake in the kitchen. The green hummus was almost tasteless. Mussels in coconut milk was fair and the papparedelle duck pasta was too Spicy. The setting is cozy though we were the only ones at 5:30. If crowded, the tables seem very close. The service was friendly and warm but so is Starbucks.
My favorite restaurant in the Hamptons!
Excellent food and service
Been there many times. very consistent. Best burger in the Hamptons. Pork chop is also excellent. Keep in mind it's a drop costly but worth it.
Fantastic all around. Michael and the crew always do an incredible job, the special fish was spectacular!
Was introduced to the restaurant in the fall by friends.. and decided to head back when I was hosting other friends in town.
Always great! The whole fish was soooo good!
Great service from Alex at the table, Kyle behind the bar and Tina all around. Would reccommend any of David's restaurants; Fresno delivers everytime.
Kristi was great!... As always, Fresno is perfect for us... thank you!
Our fav go to spot in EH
We done all year long
Great consistent food
Fresno is without question one of the best restaurants in the Hamptons.
The food is always reliably very good to excellent - tonight the tomato soup with pesto was fabulous, the salmon perfectly prepared, the wedge salad always great and their special manhattan which they craft by hand with great spirits and they barrel age is the perfect cold weather cocktail
other places may come and go, and get flashy reviews, but I know for a great meal in East Hampton nothing beats Fresno
Michael, Gretchen & Tina are the perfect hosts! The food is wonderful and there is always something new and delicious to try. We highly recommend to friends and family and anyone visiting East Hampton for the first time.
