This is a great neighborhood gem that's perfect for a celebratory dinner. The service was attentive, wine list was reasonably good and the food was delicious. There are some staples on the menu like the fried chicken and the meatloaf, but it seems like the rest of the menu changes daily based on availability of ingredients.

Probably the best chef in town, Franck's is on nearly everyone's list of top three restaurants in Salt Lake City. Tuesday's tasting menu was "crazy" creative and delicious, in the words of my dinner partner, and the service - as usual – was superb.

Tuesday Tastings are a nice touch to experience the range of culinary creativity on a limited one-off scale. Altho the server helpfully suggested wine pairings, they were not pre-selected and only suggested on request. Would be nice for the tasting menu to suggest pairings available by the glass.

Very disappointed in the Fondue - liquid on top of a clump of cheese that was difficult to incorporate at the table. Flavors were there but not the consistency.
Other appetizers were good - Brussel sprouts, heirloom tomato tart and the parsnips soup.

I found this menu to be lacking. The menu was somewhat different than what is on the site. The Chef has a SERIOUS SWEET TOOTH AND LOVE WHITE CHOCOLATE on just about half the menu. the crispy Brussels sprout were DROWNED in apple vinegar sauce that could put you in a diabetic coma.
The service was AMAZING, abs the decor is quaint.
No need for dessert. That was served with each offering drown is sickly sweet nonsense.

I had pretty high expectations for Franck’s. While I can understand that the team is putting in a lot of effort, some things just didn’t come off right for me. The experience didn’t feel high-end as I was expecting. The dining room is cozy, and was packed when we were there, which unnerved me as we entered. Minutes after placing our food order the first items began arriving, which made me feel like I was being rushed through the dinner service. Our entrees arrived before I could even finish my cocktail. A fine restaurant delivers a specific cadence, cocktail and appetisers to slowly start the evening. Different appetisers are delivered (when sharing) one after the other to pace the meal. There should be a pause between appetisers and entrees. Not incredibly long, but at Franci’s, it was non-existent. That pause should give me time to at least finish my cocktail. The food was nice, no complaints. It felt a little disjointed, why is there Ramen and Leg of Lamb in the same menu? But both tasted great. Overall, I won’t be going again, when I spend this much on food, I expect the details to be right.

The fondue was delicious, the salad was fantastic, the person who ordered the Wagyu steak in our group was over the moon. BUT, three of us ordered the striped bass and we were all very disappointed in both the quality of fish and its preparation. In short, disappointed.

The place had a nice ambience and the staff were accommodating and helpful. We had the meatloaf and the southern fried chicken. Both were original takes on Classics. I look forward to returning soon.

My husband and I went to Franck's for our anniversary. The steak my husband ordered was cooked perfectly and very tender, the presentation was just lovely. I ordered ono fish from Hawaii, this was just perfect it was so pretty on the plate. You should order their home made rolls they were warm and the butter that came with them was so good. We both had cocktails, they were very good. And don't forget the dessert we shared a peanut butter pie with nuts, out of this world good.I would highly recommend this wonderful restaurant.
We had a wonderful evening at Franck’s. The ambiance and service were great. The food is always amazing and creative. The Brussels sprouts appetizer is one of their most popular dishes and is worth getting. The wagyu beef was incredibly tender and delicious. It is one of the more upscale dining experiences in the Salt Lake area but it is worth the splurge.
We both loved our meals. The menu changes daily so all I can say is each item he had was perfect! Loved the presentations.

This was my first time at Franck’s.
We had the fondue for an appetizer, and we have eaten this in both the french alps and in Switzerland and this fondue was flavorful and just like in Europe.
The hot chicken and Wagyu beef tenderloin did not disappoint us. The tenderloin dish was very inventive and the flavors beautifully choreographed. We could not eat dessert as we were so full. Maybe next time!

Food was good, lots of nut in every dish which was a bit overwhelming and the fondue was really oily. Staff was friendly but slow … we spend over two hours there for drinks appetizers and a main course … our server stopped by occasionally but never had much to update us on so we just continued waiting ..
We have been to Franck’s several times with the same friends and we are always totally pleased with the whole experience. The food and service is beyond our expectations every time.

We’ve been wanting to try Franck’s for a long time. We have been missing out! Our waitress, Callie, was very informative on all the menu items. The cheese fondue and tomato pie appetizers are a must try. Fried chicken was some of the best I’ve had. We’ll be back!
It was my husband’s birthday and because he’s allergic to peanuts, the dessert needed to be sent back but they brought us a new one, no nuts. The wagyu beef was amazing!

This was a fun place to celebrate our anniversary! The staff was very friendly and attentive and they even gave us free dessert! We did the fondue starter and thought it was great, but there was so much and it was so filling that it was harder to enjoy the rest of the courses. They served us beautiful and unique dishes and we really enjoyed our time there.
The service was exceptional. We had a lovely evening.
