We always wonder why we don’t dine at Franck’s more often when we do visit. Clever disappoints. At first I thought the menu didn’t have enough options for me to find something but the fish of the day was unbelievable! Meat loaf, lamb shank were also excellent.
Tuesday tasting menu never disappoints!
Air conditioner wasn’t working. Sat outside in 90 degree because it was cooler than inside. Food and service was great as always.
The food here is always interesting, innovative, and exceptional. Executive Chef Robert Perkins has created an amazing and talented team in the kitchen that never disappoints. And the serving staff should take great pride in the amazingly professional and friendly service. This is our #1 recommend for people looking for a memorable dining experience.
The food and service are excellent. The A/C was not working well and the restaurant was a little too warm for comfort but this is a great place to go for special occasions and we will be going back.
the ambiance was really nice, food was super good, staffs are nice! will definitely come back again next time
It was great! We were pleasantly surprised with the soup and the Brussel sprouts were absolutely delicious and probably our favorite thing!
Thank you so much
We used to have to travel on a six star cruise line, or go to New York or Los Angeles to have a really great meal (or Yountsville for the French Laundry) in the US. We have also had great meals in Thailand and Italy. But always, we returned to our home Salt Lake City, resigned to the OK but uninspiring. Not anymore! With places like Franck's we are having world class cuisine. In the words of Nero Wolfe, "We are not eating, we are dining." Franck's creativity and deliciousness are always evident top to bottom, beginning to end!
Outside dining was lovely; service was excellent and so was the food. My husband tried the meatloaf for the first time and really enjoyed it. The swordfish was well perfectly cooked with a delicious sauce. We’ll be back!
Air conditioning must have been out, was very warm and it really made dinner less comfortable. Food was great!
Franck’s is cuisine art! You cannot go wrong ordering anything off the menu.
We always enjoy Franck's as Chef Rob and his team do an outstanding job of preparing unique, elegant and delicious food. Last evening was particularly great as they had Hawaiian Walu prepared with an amazingly tantalizing sauce and accompaniments.
Beautiful atmosphere. Beautiful food. Wonderful service. Will definitely return
Best kept secret in Utah
They were out of what we wanted, brought us what we didn’t order. Dated decor, fruit flys all over the place landing in our wine, not worth the cost.
Was a birthday and date. Service was outstanding, starting with happy birthday graffiti sprinkled on our table as we were seated. Very attentive. Anticipated most needs.
Food was very good with rare exception.
Calli and Blake were outstanding as they took such good care of us. The food exceeded our expectations- like a perfect balance of flavor going off in such a satisfying way! Looking forward to another delightful occasion there!!
I highly suggest doing the Tuesday Tasting Menu. It was absolutely delicious and so was our service with it.
We had a wonderful time at Franck’s. The food was spectacular, the service was great, and the atmosphere was upbeat and fun!
We had a multigenerational group of 5 ranging in age from 23 to 80. Everyone was pleased with the whole experience. The lamb shank, in particular, was amazing. Service was also excellent.
Beautiful outdoor patio. Perfect weather. The food and drinks were delicious. The wagyu was the best I’ve had that I can remember.
The food is good. You can tell the chef puts time but the its not worth the price.
The food was fantastic! The service was great too. Our server made great suggestions although I don’t think there’s a bad choice on the menu. We tried a lot of different things and loved everything!
We went specifically to try the Tuesday tasting -- it was amazing and wonderfully presented - perfect portion size for us.
Went to Franck’s for our anniversary. We had a wonderful evening. The dinner was wonderful and our waiter (Blake) was so friendly and his service was exceptional. We have been coming to Franck’s for years. I would recommend it to anyone. My wife and I enjoy this restaurant and have always had a good dining experience.
The food is amazing, and the patio is an incredible place!
Food was great, utilizing unique ingredients, server excellent, cocktails enticing, grounds well kept. Nothing negative to say.
Absolutely beautiful! Very quiet, relaxing.
A little pricey!
Always a great experience : great service and amazing food
My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary on Franck’s lovely patio. The food was fantastic, from the crispy Brussels sprouts to the lamb shank to the halibut. The ginger beer with lime was sublime. The service was impeccable. It was a lovely place to celebrate a special occasion.
Franck's uses 1,000 words to describe their burgers and they need to. There are so many delicious ingredients in them. They always have new and exciting cocktails. I love their version of the French 75 and their Moscow mule. My husband loves their meatloaf. It really is incredible, I just can't get past the odd plating. It looks like it came out of a cat-food can. Their fried chicken is my favorite! it looks and tastes amazing!
Used to be a favorite restaurant but it no longer has the good and attentive service it once had prior to the pandemic. They need to step it up.
First time at this restaurant/beautiful setting/very nice employees/delicious food
This is one of the best results in the valley. The tasting menu on tuesdays are the most fun I’ve had in a while. The main course was a smoked beef shoulder with peas and nectarine used in variety of ways. It reminded me of spring being over and summer beginning.
We went for our anniversary. They had a nice card on our table wishing us a happy anniversary. The waitress and food was fabulous. Beautiful outdoor table under the beautiful trees.
Food was ok. Very limited menu. Best thing as the halibut special which wasn’t on the menu because they only had a few. Seems like they’ve lost a little mojo. Might be because of the pandemic
Rob is a very talented chef! The food was like edible art. It was a wonderful evening.
Amazing food, but our waitress wasn’t great. All the other wait staff was informative and on top of things at their tables, but our waitress was pretty much absent.
Weather permitting, setting and ambience--particularly outside--are stunningly beautiful. Food ingredients are pretty decent--how they're fused however is another story. Had the spicy fried chicken--heavily breaded, a bit greasy and soggy. Meatloaf dish looks pretty and presents well, but no matter how creative (like blueberry sauce on it, its still meatloaf). Price point isn't terrible, but true to many a Utah higher end establishment, servers are dressed up quite nice, but know little or nothing about food. Service was OK, but remained a bit choppy at times.
