   Excellent food and service, as usual. Very nice wine list. Casual, bistro-like dining room.

   All 4 of us enjoyed our food and service. My husband had Dana’s bolognese, but he thought he ordered the lasagna bolognese. He was disappointed, but ok with what he got. Others ordered ravioli with spinach, rigatoni with sausage, and spaghetti with pancetta. We shared the chocolate torte and blubarb pie. All delicious although a little too salty.

   My friend and I went to dinner there last night. We have both have been here and the food is always delicious. We have even had our holiday party at Francesca’s 2 years ago. However, we dine specifically seeking Tiffany as our server. She’s absolutely the best!! We adore her and her service is exceptional. We will follow her wherever she works.

   Recommended by a friend, we visited Francesca’s on Chestnut, with friends. The location was convenient to our hotel in the Mag Mile area. While the atmosphere was nicely styled for a restaurant of its quality, the space felt a bit crowded and I was incredibly loud. Conversations were a bit of a challenge. The food was definitely the star. Good options for starters, particularly the buratta, My rigatoni alla vodka was excellent as well. Everyone at our table loved what they had.

   We love the Francesca restaurants. The food is consistently good. Today, the service was slow. My food was barely warm by the time it was served. It might have been an issue of being understaffed

   It was great to find a place where we could get a reservation on an Easter Sunday. We arrived a few minutes early for our 11 am reservation and the restaurant was not open yet. The folks at the residence/hotel in the same building didn't know the hours of operation were, which seemed quite odd and they were rude, so Francescas may want to communicate their hours to the hotel and ask them not to alienate Francescas patrons. The setting was beautiful, service was great, and the food was adequate. We would eat there again.

   After a warm welcome, we were taken to our favorite table and got our first look at a new menu. Some of our old favorites were still there, but we went with two new offerings, the ravioli and the rigatoni del Sardi. These will have to be added to our favorites list. The service was top notch, the food hot and excellent, and everyone from greeters to busfolk behaved as if we were the only reason they opened at all (though the tables around us were full of people no doubt experiencing the same thing.) All stars all round!
