We went there and had an amazing meal. The GM, Joe, was very hospital and made the dining experience very special.
Overall food was great. We did order a pizza that we did not like and sent back but everything else was really good and a good value for what you get. The house made lemoncelo was great and the wait staff took great care of us. My one complaint other than the pizza was the noise. There were a couple large tables and the noise was quite excessive making it hard at times to hear my wife across the table. We requested to be moved and were but it was really no help. But the meal and service were top notch in my book
We had fantastic service and scrumptious food. We will definitely come back when we’re in town.
This Mia Francesca location is wonderful. They are on top of their game !
Three tables and twice they got our order wrong . But food is always good here. So.. mixed review.
We have eaten here before and again the food and service were excellent. My wife ordered a spicy dish which was good but not spicy so she mentioned it to our waitress. Our waitress came back and offered a replacement dinner for my wife but since we were traveling it was not an option. Our waitress came back and told us that my wife's meal was comp'ed and that they were sorry for the inconvenience. We will return as the service and food is difficult to beat in Chicago along with a very reasonable cost.
Food was delicious and service was super attentive!
The food was excellent and our server, Elliot, was incredibly helpful and attentive! I would highly recommend Francesca's!
The food was amazing and the service was great as well. We will be back!
Michael was great!
I have visited the location on 95th and for Valentines I decided to make a reservation here. The food was excellent (with leftovers!) and service incredible. The volume level was a bit louder than anticipated, but 1. It's an Italian place, can't complain. and 2. It was, in fact, Valentines Day - so a lot of energy in the air (candlelit was nice). That being said, would highly recommend!
It was excellent! Great service, food and overall everything top notch. Thank you!!
Excellent dining spot particularly if you taking in a show at Water Tower Place.
I can’t recommend this restaurant enough. Nothing is too much or out of the question. They treat you like family. It’s our go to for every family occasion and our standard by which we measure other establishments! A must when visiting Chicago.
Great dining experience. Highly recommend. A must during a visit to Chicago.
Our Waiter, Pablo, was absolutely fabulous! Went out of his way so I could have my meal prepared exactly how I wanted it! He was so courteous and accommodating! The food here is always great but Pablo is the reason I’m writing this review. He made our dinner just all that much more enjoyable! So 5 stars!
Excellent food and service as always. And the noise level is low enough for easy conversations.
Excellent experience! The meal (Bruschetta, Chicken and sauteed vegetables in a white wine and lemon sauce, and a chocolate torte with pistachio ice cream) was outstanding! The service was also uniformly excellent. Highly recommended.
Francesca’s is consistently great: outstanding service, excellent food, extremely kid/baby friendly. My family and extended family love it.
Meal selection was rather small and many pasta dishes that you would imagine to see were not available. Dishes ended up tasting just “OK”. The main reason for a low rating was the poor service....the restaurant was not busy at all (should have been a sign) and there were plenty of waiters. Our waiter did not stop by very often and our two hour dinner took almost 3.5 hours!
Delicious birthday lunch. Despite being fairly full, the room was very quiet. Service was terrific but not intrusive. Second time I have been here and I will absolutely be returning. Putting Francesca's on my regular rotation.
Family trip to Chicago.
I had the branzino. It was inedible. Overcooked and hard to find in the bath of soupy polenta. I would have sent it back, but I never do that.
We frequent Francesca's, usually once whenever we stay on the Gold Coast. We enjoy the ambiance at the bar, the service in the restaurant is very good, and the downstairs enoteca is charming. A quiet place to end an evening. The food is delicious by the way.
This restaurant has Chicago style and the atmosphere was far above our expectations. The waitstaff and food were amazing. We would definitely go back and recommend to others.
Food was outstanding. The red sauce is one of the best I’ve ever had. I’m still thinking about their flourless lava cake with mint chocolate chip ice cream. They have a dedicated gluten-free menu with a generous selection of options.
Exceptional meal and service tonight! Kindly split a meal and the entree was delicious. Well done!
Great food and wine, wonderful service. We were there on a Monday night, so the noise level was fine. On a busier night I imagine that it may be difficult to hold an intimate conversation. But since the food is so good, save the conversation for later.
$10 spaghetti dinner was a good value! Always love their profiteroles!
Food was outstanding and the ambiance was great. Noise level not too loud.
The food was amazing.
We popped in after a Show and Grab so appetizers and light fair our server. Was great and The Whole experience was Perfect! Great lil Neigborhood spot in the Gold Coast
Salad was not fresh - at least a day old - gross. Food was fine - but great. There are better choices
The quality of the food is not what it use to be. Service was good. My pasta dish was very underwhelming. The pasta was over cooked and stuck together.
We went for New Year’s Eve, can’t say enough good.......service was excellent (often terrible on a holiday), truly delicious, and we could actually talk and hear each other! This is our new “go-to” for Chicago, will eat here at least once each trip to the Windy City.
Ate at bar. Bartender not adequately trained to serve food, or bartend for that matter.
Terrible food and service. Poor food presentation
Amazing service! Food was ok...not bad but not great. Excellent location and value for what you get. Would recommend.
The best food and our server Mike was awesome!!!
Enjoyed very much and our seating request to move to the lower level was graciously accommodated!
