We came here for our Day dinner. I live here in the city and I must say, why have I not been here before last Friday! From the door greeter down, host, bartender, wait staff and chef made this experience amazing! But I have to speak on a certain employee. Mike our waiter was top notch! He took us through the entire menu, spoke on, found our likes and delivered a wonderful experience for the night. His wait staff was very top notch and done their job well! I deffinately will be back with in a month and make this one of our places we love to eat regularly in the city. Hats off to the entire staff for making our Day date night amazing one!

If you are looking for the best music, atmosphere, service, and dining experience, this place is hard to beat anywhere. Britney and Isaac made our Valentines night extra special. After great music and dining experience in the Foundation Room, we enjoyed the Whiskey Myers concert downstairs at the House of Blues. Thank you for being the best at what you do!

The room was great, the food was delicious, and the service was very personable and efficient. We will definitely make another visit the next time we are in NOLA.

The food was absolutely delicious-including garlic soup, fried green tomatoes, arugula salad. Isaac, our waiter was really great. Unfortunately we sat in the room with the dome and had another party with a very loud guest or two which was a little much for even our conversation.

Stumbled upon this fabulous restaurant with live music playing and delicious food. Our waiter Mike was excellent. I highly recommend this hidden jewel!

I took my wife for her birthday to the Foundation Room and had an excellent time. The exclusive entrance started the night. A private elevator took us to the restaurant. We were greeted by a friendly host and was served by very attentive waiters, Michael and Brandon. The ambiance was incredible and the booth we sat at was very private. The food was out of this world. My wife was impressed and that’s saying a lot because she is a seasoned cook and we travel often. We even got a behind the scenes tour of the other rooms at the House of Blues, which was the icying on the cake. The Foundation Room will be a ‘must visit’ anytime I’m in New Orleans.

A wonderful eclectic dining experience! Food is excellent. Great southern flare. Atmosphere is intriguing from the moment you step in. Spencer greeted us at the entrance and then we were welcomed off the elevator from a very nice hostess. Isaac was our waiter. Not only was he very knowledgeable about menu, he was a genuine soul who took interest in his diners and interacted in such a genuine way. He is a gem as is this restaurant. Kudos to the husband and wife chef team. if you are in New Orleans you must make the Foundation Room one of your dining stops. Live music was also remarkable. Thank you all for a memorable experience!

When we got there for our reservation we were informed the restaurant was closed for the evening. I guess that’s why it was so easy to get a reservation. We didn’t get to eat but I had to put something in the ratings in order to comment.

Living in Orlando we have great places to go for food and fun. But we love to visit NOLA because of the history and richness of the city. I have dined at the well known old guard restaurants and love them all. We have been to the HOB for concerts and have been invited to the Foundation Room in the past just for drinks.

I decided to surprise my wife with dinner and made a reservation. I was a little skeptical about how the food and experience would be as i know of the HOB for music and drinks. All I can say is WOW. The service was spectacular as each person made us feel so welcomed. Our table was ready, a romantic booth, but they told us we could sit at the bar to enjoy drinking first and watch the entertainment. Some beautiful soul performance by Blue Eyes. After that we were seated for a delicious meal. Michael and Brandon were our servers and did great with the menu options and background.

We started out with the Roasted Pork Belly appetizer. I know food well and this was one of the best things I have eaten. The stone ground grits with gouda and green tomato relish provide a tasteful fantasy for the palette. Even the second course Wild Arugala salad with cider vinaigrette was devine.

For the main I had the Fish, a Mahi Mahi prepared like a picatta style with risotto. My wife had the slow roasted beef ribs. Both were prepared extremely well and provided every taste sensation you would want.

All I can say is the Chef's preparing dinner are both talented and insightful to plan a menu so fitting to a room you will not find in any other place. The Foundation Room should not be an afterthought as part of a bar with food. It is a full on symphony of taste and visual stimulation that is not matched in my travels and is on my regular play list for dining and entertaining in NOLA.

Great ambience with unique decor and intimate dining nooks as well as tables. High quality service from friendly, proficient staff. Food was absolutely delicious. Found this hidden jewel by chance. Excellent!!

We were pleasantly surprised to dine in the House of Blues’ Foundation Room through Open Table, as non-members; we were recent guests of a Foundation Room member at a Sip-and-See party in the lounge area, and we were impressed that evening with the relaxed ambiance of the room as well as the tasty foods. The Foundation Room is definitely a cool and unique dining room (and we appreciate and welcome the business casual dress code) with an inviting and extensive three course menu, including a great craft cocktail list and wines by the glass in 6oz or 9oz pours. The excellent live music in the bar area (and overheard in the dining room ) was a definite plus and the attentive and knowledgeable wait service by Mike and Brandon was superb. We were very pleased with the filet steak and bone-in ribeye entree selections (thank you Chef Nathan Winowich) as well as the pork belly appetizer and salad. As first time diners in the Foundation Room, we were treated like members and we were quite impressed with the friendliness of the entire staff, from Hollis at the ground-level reception area, to the upstairs receptionist (who greeted us by name), to the bartender who mixed perfect Martini and Manhattan cocktails, to Mike and Brandon who served our table. The private elevator to the Foundation Room is really funky and lends to very special and welcoming trip to and from the Foundation Room. Thank you!

The food is amazing and the staff is even better! Issac was very attentive and made great suggestions! If you get a chance you must try the pork chop. It’s over the top delicious!

Made a reservation for 6 people. When I arrived the establishment had seated 4 of my group in the wrong
area and said there was confusion as to which group I was with. I spoke with a manager he said they were sorry for the confusion, but was unable to do anything about it. We ate in the main restaurant. When another manager came by, she said she was sorry and offered a desert. We did not. She offered us to the Foundation room for a beverage. We all agreed. Upon arrival I ordered for the group, the bar tender said there was confusion and we had to pay our tab, which I did. I ordered another round of beverages for my group, paid for this as well and asked to speak with the Foundation room manager. When I finally stopped the Foundation room manager (she had been up to the room twice that I saw) I expected her to come over and talk with us, she did not, I had to track her down to discuss the situation. She there was confusion on this topic as well and although she did offer for us to go to the Foundation room and have a beverage, we really weren't offered a beverage on the house. I even believe security was on standby near-by while we were enjoying our beverages. VERY uncomfortable feeling for all of us, especially the ladies. It was like we being stalked or made to feel uncomfortable so that we would leave.

I travel often and have been to the Foundation rooms in Cleveland and Chicago to see if this was something I was interested in. As I was looking to join after good experiences in the pervious locations, after this episode, there is little chance I would join let alone frequent a HOB again.

Sylvester and I were dining at the Foundation Room to celebrate my birthday. We read on line, and then heard from the concierge at Bluegreeen Vacation Club, the excellent reviews for a unique dining experience. We were delighted to find not only an outstanding meal but superb attention from friendly and courteous staff. My parents were from Italy and the "Italian Night" dining reminded me of home. Thank you for a memorable evening.

DELICIOUS. Just the food alone was outstanding! Service was friendly and prompt. Atmosphere was cozy, romantic, and a little sexy. I would suggest everyone try this place at least once. It's my new favorite restaurant in New Orleans!

Wonderful as always. Mike is one of the best servers around, attentive, friendly and knows his business. The chef is awesome. Served a andouille and brisket gumbo that was out of this world. The flavor was full bodied and delicious. Molly, Abby, and Sharon are great hosts. They go out of their way to make everything just right. All of the staff makes you feel like royalty. ♥️

Amazing service! The best service my friends and I ever had and don't believe we can find elsewhere. Our server Mike gave the best service, attentiveness, salesmanship and storytelling. Usually when someone comes to us too often or right when your mouth is full to check on you, you find it overwhelming or annoying...but it didn't feel that way at all. He was so genuine. Our food was phenomenal and in a large quantity! I didn't expect to get so much in my serving which was great, sadly didn't get to finish it all but definitely took it home. Would definitely go back again (and have Mike serve us)!

From the moment you step inside the building you know you’re in for a special evening. Exclusive entrance to a quick elevator ride and you enter a Kama sutra, sultry, adult hangout. Leather seats, fabric wall paper, and low lighting to set the ambience. Their wine list is extensive and live music sets the tone for an enjoyable evening. The food is another experience you won’t soon forget. Everything I had was flavorful and prepared to perfection.

The fried chicken was fabulous as well as the bread pudding! I think this is definitely an adult dinner place, would not recommend bringing your children under the age of 18. Our server was very attentive, and had lots of “energy.” However, he did not read his “audience “ when telling his interesting waiter stories, which were not appropriate for our dinner party.

I picked this restaurant because it was walking distance from our hotel. We were celebrating my sons birthday. It was hard to find the entrance and we were not treated well at the sister restaurant. The interior is dark and weird, but New Orleans vibe. We were only ones in restaurant and seated in corner booth that had pillows and curtain. I'm not sure what all they expected us to do, but we just came for a nice meal. Food was good and service was great! It was expensive and not sure if i would go again.

Atmosphere is to die for. Service is good. Wine list pretty good. Overpriced but...you let that slide. On our particular visit the strip steaks were practically inedible due to sinew. Really poor. Service didn’t offer to offset, but we didn’t push it either. Other food was just fine.

Was my newly wed husbands birthday & we wanted a private quiet dinner & even tho dining room completely empty, hostess sat us facing the exit door & then sat a huge loud party of 6 adjacent to our table & completely ruined our evening; steak was terribly cooked & server did not tell me chicken was thigh meat which I do not eat so bad food too.
