Attentive staff, great food, cozy ambiance, great date night experience
Always great food and service!
We went here for dinner on Fat Tuesday during Restaurant Week and it was our first time here. The Foundation Room is truly a hidden gem. The décor and ambiance of the restaurant was spectacular as was the seafood paella. The wagyu burger was not very special, but our server was phenomenal and the experience was wonderful. We will definitely come back to order off the regular menu.
Julius Chris and Sam made our night special. It's a unique place, they make you feel like you are their honored guests. Definitely'a don't miss' for Cleveland dining.
Absolutely amazing aesthetic. Essentially a members only place, but got reservations on OpenTable. Food was great. Essentially we had a private restaurant for awhile. Indian art decor really sets a mood. And the food is really good. The scallop dish is highly recommend. Definitely would want to go back and considering membership. Well worth the time.
Feel like a rock star with the amazing service and food in The Foundation Room at the House of Blues!
We had a wonderful time. Our server was very knowledgeable. At no time did we feel rushed.
Loved the atmosphere. Definitely will return.
Great food, service and atmosphere! Always a first class experience.
Great time with friends in a special place!
Fantastic. Service was above and beyond.
Wonderful place and staff. Food was excellent. Chris was wonderful!
Hidden Gem in downtown Cleveland
From the moment we arrived we felt like the staff was taking care of us, from the host to the bartender and to Julius who steered us around and checked in on us.
We had been to the Foundation Room and loved the vibe of the place, but had never dined there. We were amazed at the found, which was outstanding. I highly recommend the wings. I was all set to get the paella, but when our server told us about the cioppino as a special, I changed my mind. I'm glad I did.
We had a great experience and will definitely return.
I visited this restaurant this past Sat. night and found it to be a hidden gem in CLE. The manager Julius was very friendly and accomodating.
Always good food, always good service, always good people taking good care of you
Seemed a little run down. Staff and food were great, just needs some updating.
I made a reservation for dinner and couldn’t get all the times that I originally wanted so I settled on the time that you gave me. I got there me and my companion were the only two people in the entire place… We waited for a while and then instead of 730 eating, we waited till at least 9 PM to eat because we felt uncomfortable with nobody in the restaurant.
We like the whole experience. Julius is the bomb. Usually frequent four times a year.
Great food, just really hard to find. Service was excellent.
VIP service from stem to stern. Julius is the best!
Swankiest spot in Cleveland. A1 service through and through.
Julius and Chris went way out of their way to make us feel special. We were a group of six and they acted as if each one of us as a single party. Superb. The food and ambiance are also hard to beat.
The House of Blues Foundation Room has a NEW menu... And, it's amazing! Chicken thigh meatballs in a zesty tomato sauce with homemade garlic bread; wings w/a smokey glaze and out of this world dipping sauce (used it for my french fries from the steak and frites), toasted sharp cheddar cheese and granny smith apples was so good!
Julius is the best; the staff in general are helpful and friendly.
Beautifully decorated India themed restaurant with the coolest collection of folk art! Service was impeccable (we had about 3 different people checking that we were content, etc. throughout the meal) The food was scrumptious and nicely prepared/plated...we wrapped it up with the dessert of freshly baked cookies with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side. Afterwards, we went downstairs to hear some live blues from the band, Blues Chronicles. They were great!!! PERFECT EVENING OUT!
ALL of the staff was top notch. Food was fantastic. Can’t wait to dine again!
One of the best dinning experiences ever ! Well worth it !
We really enjoyed the atmosphere. The decor was interesting and different. The service was excellent. We will definitely be back another time.
Julius is a great manager of the foundation room...they were always checking to make sure everything was great....Excellent time as always.
We had a wonderful evening at the Foundation Room. Staff was courteous, efficient and very professional. Our guests were impressed with the ambience as well as the dining experience. We will definitely return to this restaurant soon.
Great food for reasonable prices
Overall I was disappointed with my experience with Foundation Room. On a Saturday night, we walked in to a completely empty restaurant. Two other tables were occupied later on. I ordered the Filet and it was very good. But, the meal was overpriced for what we received. The salad and sides were overpriced and small compared to other steakhouses. The chocolate cake dessert was very dry and not worth the price. Overall if I’m going to spend about $200 for a dinner for two, the restaurant should have more patrons. Save your $ or go to Marble Room.
Absolutely delicious meal! Service was exceptional!
Perfect service and excellent food! Gluten free bread would have made it perfect food too!
Foundation room exceeded any and all expectations. The ambiance was incredible along with the service and food even better!
Being new to the area it was our actual first date night my wife and got to have in a long time. The staff was fantastic and the food was superb. We shared the Shrimp appetizer and I had the 16oz Ribeye which I would highly recommend. We really enjoyed ourselves and can not wait to do it again.
This is a gem upstairs from the House of Blues main floor restaurant. It’s so interestingly decorated and feel exclusive. It’s romantic, quiet, and service and menu are upscale. We were able to walk out onto the patio outside and view the outside activity on East 4th Street. The Foundation Room in the past was limited to private parties, and it just opened to the public around August 2018, so it’s a secret waiting to be found!
Excellent service - friendly, efficient, helpful, you can tell that the staff really cares about customers and their experience. I recommend this venue for special occasions, hanging out with friends at the bar, or enjoying live music.
