Anchoring Saratoga's vibrant downtown Forno Bistro is a family-owned bistro that offers a variety of rustic, Tuscan-style food rooted in tradition. Our chef's use only the freshest seasonal ingredients to prepare dishes with respect to their flavors, appearance and aroma. The menu is sophisticated but approachable, expressing the sense of hearth and home that defines the Tuscan style of life. Forno Bistro's rustic, Tuscan-style food is hearty and unpretentious with sophisticated flavors rooted in tradition and always open to new interpretations and adaptations. Many of our dishes are greatly influenced by the use of the wood-fired oven: homemade pizzas, sautéed calamari, and wood-fired towers of vegetables. The oven is always the inspiration.

Excellent service by Cadence! Food was delicious, I had the salmon fish special and loved it. We ate outside, the atmosphere was warm but very nice.

only got the appetizers and drinks. Food was good but it was very busy so service was understandably slow. Made a reservation and was told there was still a wait when getting there.

I will review why that evening you felt service was slow to see if there is any refinements or coaching I can do with our team. I am sorry to hear that you had a short wait. While we do our very best to seat all guests at their reservation time, occasionally, there are unexpected delays due to prior parties finishing their dining experience or other unforeseen circumstances. Please know that reservations are our way of holding space for you and setting expectations, but they are not always exact due to the natural flow of dining service. I hope you dine with us again. We enjoyed a delicious meal, (although we thought $36 for ravioli was a bit over the top expensive.) When checking in, with a reservation, the hostess said she'd have to see if she has a table which was a little off-putting. She did have a table and letd us to a table and we found the whole restaurant extremely and overpoweringly noisy. We could have very little conversation because of the competition of noise in the restaurant. Although the food was outstanding and we enjoyed everything, I'm not sure we would return because of the high noise level. We were offered outside seating however it was 93° and humid and not comfortable for outside dining. Perhaps the restaurant can have a few quieter tables to accommodate folks who would like to have some good conversation without yelling.

We dined at Forno Bistro on a delightful June evening and were able to eat on the patio. The ambience was great. Our waiter was welcoming and personable. For dinner we ordered short ribs for me, Margarita pizza for my wife. The food was delicious, as was the atmosphere. It was our first visit, and hopefully won’t be our last.

We come to Forno a lot. We love the food and atmosphere. Also we always receive excellent service. We had the bruschetta appetizer, pasta vegetali and another pasta dish with eggplant and sausage, all excellent.

Excellent service and food. We would definitely return. The salads, entrees and pizza are all shareable. Unfortunately we were not told that and wound up not eating the whole salad or pizza. We could not take boxes as we are traveling. Definitely a waste of our money but again, the food was very good.

Service and staff were outstanding. Food was fair to moderate, lacked flavor. Swordfish was good. Gravy seemed to be standard.
