Anchoring Saratoga's vibrant downtown Forno Bistro is a family-owned bistro that offers a variety of rustic, Tuscan-style food rooted in tradition. Our chef's use only the freshest seasonal ingredients to prepare dishes with respect to their flavors, appearance and aroma. The menu is sophisticated but approachable, expressing the sense of hearth and home that defines the Tuscan style of life. Forno Bistro's rustic, Tuscan-style food is hearty and unpretentious with sophisticated flavors rooted in tradition and always open to new interpretations and adaptations. Many of our dishes are greatly influenced by the use of the wood-fired oven: homemade pizzas, sautéed calamari, and wood-fired towers of vegetables. The oven is always the inspiration.

Very nice casual dinner. Group of four of us. Ordered salad, pizza, pasta and eggplant parm. Everyone enjoyed. Service was good.

I have a hearing issue. The staff went above and beyond to place me at a table where the acoustics were amenable to my issue. Wait staff was excellent and food was delicious.

Absolutely wonderful experience. Food was delicious from salads to entrée and desserts. I have a delicious salad which is made with greens feta cheese, dehydrated, pear, and candied pecans. We asked the waiter to substitute the kale for a spring mix and it made that salad completely delicious. We split that so it was a real value at $18. My chicken dish was wonderfully pounded. Chicken breast deep fried served with fontina cheese and prosciutto. It was served with oven roasted red skin potatoes also completely delicious every bite. The difficulty of the evening was that the waitress needed to be reminded to do things like bring bread, replace a missing drink, refill, and deliver all the entrées at roughly the same time … SERVICE is usually amazing. All in all the great value could not be happier.

Sadly, our server provided poor service and very dishonest with our dinner check. Unfortunately, I do not recommend the restaurant .

The pappardelle is super tasty!! The portions, for me, are very large—try splitting an entree or plan for leftovers.

Happy hour and dinner food choices were delicious and of such variety that most patrons could enjoy. Main dining area has a loud noise level but keep in mind there is a side porch that is quieter and can be requested.

We were visiting our Grandson at Skidmore and wanted to take him out for a nice dinner. Lots of choices as we have a vegetarian, a pescatarian and meat eater! Forno hit all based! Highly recommend!

For o Bistro was just great. Both food and service were excellent. Only issue was the noise, difficult to hear the server, hard to carry on a conversation. We would definitely go back.
