Our goal at Insalata's has always been to bring luscious Mediterranean food, gracious service and a warm atmosphere to our diners.     RH Rooftop Marin is an undeniably beautiful establishment, offering an elegant atmosphere and consistently exceptional cuisine. The quality of the food has never disappointed, and the ambiance remains one of its strongest assets. However, during my most recent visit, the level of service did not meet the standard I would expect from a restaurant of this caliber. Our server interacted with us only when taking our order and again when I presented my credit card at the end of the meal. There were no check-ins regarding our satisfaction with the food, nor were we offered additional beverages or basic follow-up during the course of our dining experience. It appeared that the restaurant may have been understaffed, which perhaps contributed to the lack of attentiveness. For instance, I had to wait a considerable amount of time before receiving a refill of water — a basic expectation in any dining experience. While the service was not up to par on this occasion, I remain impressed by RH Rooftop Marin’s culinary offerings and atmosphere. I do plan to return in hopes that my next experience will reflect the level of hospitality one would anticipate from such a distinguished venue.

    The noise level is very high. I called earlier in the day of our reservation and asked if there was a quieter area since two of our guests had hearing aids They set up a table for four in a small room off the patio, that’s probably used by the B&B for their breakfast it was delightful to be able to have a wonderful conversation with our out-of-town guest. When we go there in the future will ask to be in the back room or on the patio when the weather is nice. Food delicious, service a little slow this time, but they were really busy so I can’t follow them for that
