- LLindsayVirginia •7 reviews4.0Dined 2 days agoMy family of 4 (two kids 14 and 12) and 3 good friends ate at Texas de Brazil in Fair Oaks mall last night. There were 7 of us total in our party 5 adults and 2 kids. The kids were charged the adult price. The service was great, and the food was great! However, our server attempted to up charge is at every angle, and didn't mention the additional costs. We ordered desserts with the meal. When going to a different Brazilian steakhouse in the area, desserts were included. The additional cost was NEVER mentioned to our group. Also, my daughter got a chocolate cake for dessert, and the server asked if she would like ice cream with that. $2 extra! Never mentioned that to us until we received the bill. My friend who went with us only ate the salad bar, and we had to get our bill fixed because she was charged a regular dinner. Overall, the servers were very attentive, but wished that they'd been upfront with us on the cost. For our family of 4, our dinner was over $350!!!
