Best food near me in Azle, TX

Our experience was wonderful! We celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary here and it was fantastic. The service was amazing and the food was delicious! Highly recommend this place!

We were seated quickly upon arriving. Staff seemed very casual and friendly. We ordered drinks and appetizer which took longer than expected. Our food came out about a minute after the appetizer which was surprising. The staff that brought our main course mentioned that the appetizer we ordered usually takes longer to come out of the kitchen but she did not say why. My wife had a French onion burger I think and mine was a brisket burger. We both had fries. The drinks were good and the goat cheese appetizer was savory and delicious. The burgers were cooked to our liking and were big! The fries seemed pretty standard but the ketchup was amazing. It did have a kick but was worth every bite! The atmosphere was pretty chill and my wife and I were able to chat freely without being rushed. We mentioned that we were there for my wife’s birthday and were told that free whiskey cake was available. So glad we had the cake. It was dense but was a perfect dessert for evening out. Staff for us seemed a little slow at times but they were busy when we arrived. Overall a great experience and I know we will be back to enjoy something else on the menu! Thanks to WC for a memorable evening.

This was our first visit to Hudson House, and we are looking forward to returning! I had the ahi tuna-ginger salad, and the bowl was filled with a generous serving of tuna plus mango, avocado, tomatoes, radishes, lettuces and a delicious ginger dressing. So yummy! My husband had the Hudson salad and gave it similar rave reviews. Our waiter was attentive and personable and we enjoyed the vibe.

Once we got the food it was really good. For some reason it took over an hour to find out that they were out of turkey meatballs and if we still wanted them it would be another 15-20 minutes. We changed our order and waited another 15 minutes to finally get our food. I was looking forward to the gelato but since it was after 9 by the time we were done I had to pass. I’ve been here before and had great service, and would give them another try.

Brunch was wonderful! Been there three times and each time the food was delicious and the service was exceptional. Great place for a special breakfast or brunch.
