Chef Paul Minnillo and Chef Matt Mytro opened Flour in 2011. For more than a decade, it has provided Northeast Ohioans with outstanding cuisine and service.

Conveniently located on Chagrin Boulevard and Som Center Road in Moreland Hills, Flour - Italian Kitchen is both the neighborhood gathering place for family dinner and sophisticated private venue for the country’s largest corporations. An easy environment to celebrate an engagement with an exceptional bottle of wine, wrangle your crew after a winning soccer game… and everything in between. You can count on us for a modern aesthetic that feels comfortable, not cold.

Flour is open for lunch and dinner Monday through Friday, with an in-between menu from 2:30-5:00. Reservations are available for indoor seating with valet parking. We can accommodate parties of up to 60 people in our private dining space and cater wherever you plan to celebrate. We love our neighbors and welcome travelers near and far with open arms.

Negative and positive Negatives: - Mushroom was burnt yet undercooked. - waitress forgot about us. No bread, no oil. The other 3 diners were served, my meal was forgotten. I waited for 4 minutes and then had to ask for my food - very noisy. But it was the bar area, so not unexpected. Positives: - pizza is very good here - valet and front desk were friendly and fun Better options exist.

Service was exceptional! (Thanks Ashley!). Food was mostly great. Did not care for the ice cream at all. So gritty. 😕 Would’ve sent it back but we were with another couple and I didn’t want to make it a big deal. Will go again for sure.

The wait for our food was too long for a restaurant of this high level. Our service was ultra slow and we had to get their attention several times. I would visit again, hoping for a better overall experience.

I dine at Flour a lot personally and for business. Food is consistently good at a reasonable price point. Dinner tonight, however, was a disappointment. My wife and I both ordered the orecchiette with sausage, rapini and shrimp. It didn’t taste bad, but the dish was way too watery, shrimp was cut into tiny pieces vs whole and the rapini was overcooked with too many stalks vs florets. We ate it all because we were hungry, but it clearly wasn’t worth $29. We can make that level of pasta at home. Flour needs to improve the dish or take it off menu.
