Inspired by the rustic simplicity of Italian cuisine, Chef Paul Minnillo offers Italian food to his new culinary venture in Cleveland, Ohio. From Flour’s larder, he creates his own house-cured meats, hand-crafted artisanal cheeses, pastas, neopolitan wood-fired pizzas and rustic Italian specialities. Flour seeks the freshest locally raised and homegrown products harvested at their seasonal peak. We do offer first come first serve patio seating.

    This was our 1st visit to Flour. Just walking in the door it smells deliciously Italian. Nice wine list. I felt the menu could have had more options and the entrees were ala Carte so you had to order sides separately, adding to the price. But our server was friendly and attentive and the food was very good. We’ll be back.

    Our waitress was SUPERB!!!!!!! We come to the restaurant often, but this time we had 3 kids (2 were under age of 1) and our waitress was above and beyond accommodating and preempting every move - so grateful!!!!

    I was with a group of colleagues for lunch. The server was great. However, service was slow and my avocado salad was not special, especially for the price. The place is not too loud and tables are spaced nicely.

    We had the salmon, Brussel sprouts, fried olives and Eggplant meatballs. Our service was prompt. The server was curt but helpful and thoughtful when we asked questions. He even realized my martini wasn’t dirty enough and brought more olive juice. We’ll definitely return.

    First time visiting Flour but had spent time at the previous owner's restaurant so it should be okay. Previous owner is now Chef Emeritus. Noise level from the music was almost unbearable. About halfway thru the meal before anyone asked how the food tasted. Overpriced drinks which would have been easier to deal with if the ozs were bigger. 7.5 oz Pumking, on draft no less, for $8. People were clearly there to be seen and that explains the music vibe. I didn't see a dance floor but maybe I missed it. Tagliatelle Bolognese was amazing albeit extremely rich. Stick with the small portion unless you need a couple of meals at home. Chicken Parmesan coating had no seasoning. Would I go back? Probably not.

    Our party of four each ordered a different wood fired pizza. Each couple split a Caesar salad and the two guys had a bottled beer each. The pizzas are advertised as 10 inch but are larger; each of us took at least half home. Salad was great: fresh lettuce, good dressing that wasn't too garlicky, and fabulous croutons. Pizzas (one cheese, one sausage, one pepperoni, one Margherita were uniformly excellent, with a thin, crispy but not burnt crust. Restaurant was crowded on a Thursday night, but the service was absolutely top notch and the food came quickly. For two pizzas, a shared salad, and one bottled craft beer, the tab came to $80 including tip. A little steep perhaps, but given the quality ingredients and preparation of the food, and the top notch, attentive service, worth it. Especially when you consider we took half of each pizza home for another meal. We'll be going back to try some of the other entrees. The chicken parm that went by our table looked especially inviting.

    Perfect table location and all set and ready when arrived. Salmon and chicken entrees were perfectly prepared. Half price bottled wine was a plus. Service was great.

    We always enjoy our meal at Flour. Unfortunately, our most current experience was disappointing. Homecoming was taking place in the area. The restaurant did not handle the placement of guests correctly. We had reserved a table to celebrate 2 birthdays. We were seated in the back area surrounded by all homecoming guests. Very loud, students falling out of chairs and running from table to table. The restaurant should have enforced a certain level of decorum-as well as possibly seating all the homecoming tables in one area.

    My salad had so much dressing on it. I couldn’t eat it. I asked for chicken on my salad server brought it 12 minutes after I got my salad. She did not care.

    Easily one of my favorite restaurants. Today I had the smashed avocado salad with salmon, but I also love the bucatini, prosciutto and arugula salad and pretty much anything I’ve ever ordered. The service is friendly, and just perfect. Love this place.

    The hostess (Ava) was absolutely amazing! Our server (whom I’m sure was super busy) wasn’t as attentive as we would have liked. Drinks weren’t refilled until we asked and we kept having to “find” him. The noise level was really really really loud and we found it hard to have conversations especially since my husband and daughter have auditory issues. The food was good and overall it was nice
