   This is our third time at Fleurie. We drive an hour to get there and it is beyond worth it every time. The food is an absolute delicious work of art and the experience provided by the staff is exceptional. We will continue to return and bring friends.

   The food was abundant, beautiful, creative, and delicious!! The service was excellent! The wine recommendations were personalized and perfectly matched to our food.

   The food here is outstanding! I love the surprises that the chef sends out. Everything is seasoned beautifully and delightful in its presentation. Highly recommend!

   A fine dining experience from the moment you enter. Gourmet food, white table clothes, little extras provided unexpectedly (canapés, amuse bouche, extra sweets) all add to the experience. Wait staff members are outstanding. Just the right place for a special occasion! Fleurie is very unique and one of our favorites.

   All the food and service was wonderful and I know part of the French restaurant experience is the time in between dishes however it was just a bit too long for me.

   The food was lovely. Our waiter was lovely as well. I took 2 quiet young teens to enjoy their first fine dining experience. It was a prix fixe menu. The appetizers were too sophisticated for my comrades so I simply ordered their appetizers for them and asked that they be boxed for when we left. Our very gracious server seemed to have no issue with that. However, when appetizers were being served,, all 3 were delivered to the table. I politely explained that 2 were to have been boxed up. The back server (who is obviously somehow part of management or ownership) was so rude in her response...huffing and puffing and acting as if I, the customer, had done something wrong. But wait...there's more. From that moment on, that person was literally glaring at my table. All of a sudden, everyone who came to my table had a crack about if I wanted things to go. Even the bread. Finale. They brought my boxed things to go in a plastic bag. As if to say "here's your take out". While my profession is much different now-different enough that I can drop that not insignificant amount in your coffer-I know the service industry. I was trained in Newport, RI, worked in fine dining for years in Williamsburg, VA and Charleston, SC. I have never seen such unprofessional behavior. Would highly not recommend.

   This was my second visit to Fleurie and it did not disappoint. Everything was perfect. The selection and execution of the food was impeccable. The service was friendly and professional. The ambiance is simple, casual and warm and even though the restaurant was full, it is easy to carry on a conversation. I have already made another reservation for our next trip to Charlottesville!

   Initially we expected a normal dinner in a small building in downtown Charlottesville. The difference began with an unusual amuse bouche with six different samples of food specialties. Each was delicious. Our waiter Michael was a true gift as we was well versed in wine as well as the local history. Each course was delicious and reminded us of our trip to Paris and eating at the Bristol hotel. In summary everything was a cut above even the most expensive restaurants we have visited around the world. If you are coming to Charlottesville, make sure you try this special space.

    This was one of the best meals we have ever had. The food, service and ambience was outstanding. I would recommend this restaurant for anyone who wants to experience fine dining.
