The food, service and drink was all fantastic 10/10.
Had a fab day for my dad’s bday lunch. Perfect timing, great service and phenomenal food as always. We took advantage of the express pre theatre menu which was great value for money. Lovely, friendly and attentive staff who organised a birthday surprise dessert at our request. Would definitely recommend!
Food was delicious. But a couple came into the restaurant and changed their baby’s nappy on the table next to us. This was a busy Friday evening and we were there for a special occasion. The reaction from the manager was pathetic and considering the expensive food, this absolutely destroyed our experience.
Simply stunning- food, service, location. Can’t wait to come back
The servers were very good, very attentive and the food was amazing
The negative was that I really felt rushed, the food came out way too fast and I had my food before we had our drinks . We both had the tastings menu, the experience lasted about an hour. I also found it a bit too loud
Food was amazing, decor was cool and staff was professional. But the food came out in a very strange way. Some us got served right away but others did not get food for 15-20 minuets. Made for an awkward evening.
we enjoyed the tasting menu. was great experience and very kind service.
A delightful gem, excellent food and service was fantastic! We opted for the pre theatre menu which was great value and big portions! Great spot close to Palace Theatre, throughly reccommended.
Loved everything about it. :) The food is amazing...
Amazing food and service.
Great food and fairly affordable however I felt rushed. The waitress kept asking us to order when we arrived, and then kicked us out after 1.5hrs. Wasn’t too happy about this especially because we had a bottle of wine to finish. Can’t knock the food though, I’d come back again just for that
Lovely food and atmosphere. Service was friendly and attentive
Amazing food and great service! Look forward to going again!
the Korean Chicken Wings are by far the best chicken wings I have ever had. Piglet Belly also very good.
Went here with my partner and we absolutely loved it! Great food, lush drinks, fantastic service. We'll be back!
Lovely ambience and very friendly staff. We had the express lunch menu with additions from the main menu. Food was incredibly tasty and large portions. Can't wait to come back!
Great and attentive service!!
The wagyu beef and pork belly were superb, started with soft shell crab and Kale and Avo salad. Very tasty meal indeed!
It was my first time at Flesh and buns and I thought the food was both unique and delicious. We tried the fried squid, spicy tuna roll, salmon and avocado roll, edamame, salmon teriyaki bun, and the bone daddies sundae to finish - we ordered quite a bit. Everything was presented stunningly and tasted great, definitely going back a second time soon!
This is a great restaurant with interesting food, good service and not over-the-top on price. We'll definitely be returning
Reservation was very easy. Unfortunately we didn‘t had a proper table for a birthday dinner. The music was too loud. And it wasn‘t mentinoned anywhere that the table was available only for 2 hours, so we couldn‘t even have a dessert. No go.
The dishes were excellent.
As alway, food was great and service was too - very accommodating and gave me a lower / separate table as I was less mobile (9 months pregnant)
Not many vegetarian options to begin with but running out of the Aubrigine bao is pretty annoying.
Great for a group as the sharing style makes it easy to try loads of things. Good ambience.
We had the early evening Express menu, £22 for 2.courses or £25 for 3. Everything was delicious. We had sticky chicken wings, buns with duck and pork belly and doughnuts. All yummy.
staff in flesh and buns are all super friendly and the food is great too! Great express menu or share a few small plates.
Went with kids for pre-theatre meal. They loved putting together the flesh and buns and adored cooking their own s’mores. Really friendly and very efficient service. Thank you
As always, delicious food and great service. Buzzy but intimate atmosphere for a late-night date.
Overall, I really enjoyed Flesh and Buns and would recommend to others. The food itself and ambience of the restaurant were both exceptional - something really different to the usual London scene! The only downside was the service: I understand that there would be a high turnover of customers on a Friday evening, but considering we had bought a lot of plates as well as drinks, we felt unreasonably rushed by staff to have our plates immediately cleared away and leave. When the bill was then (hurriedly) presented to us, and there was a significant service charge already added, we then didn't feel that we particularly wanted to pay this extra cost for pretty mediocre service. To make matters worse, our waitress was then quite rude about our decision that we didn't want to pay it! Regardless, I would still say that the food and ambience make this place worth a visit - perhaps at a less busy time of the week...
Fantastic as always
Absolutely fantastic food. Loved the bao buns!! And the belly pork was the best.
We very much enjoyed our dinner at Flesh and Buns, eaten before going to the Donmar Warehouse which is basically just upstairs, so very convenient. The service is also quick and excellent, making this a great choice for a quick but delicious meal. The Portobello Mushrooms were very good as were the Aubergines. The Wagyu steak was to die for and the duck leg was also very good. We will be back to this neighbourhood gem, but bring your glasses to read the menu as it's a bit dark in there!
This was a suggestion from a friend and it definitely did not disappoint. We had the express menu and could barely fit in the dessert. Great food and generous portion sizes. Would recommend to anyone who finds themselves in London.
Went to Flesh & Buns for brunch last week and had a brilliant time. Great service, amazing variety and flavours on the brunch menu and ate so much good food! Loved it.
Amazing food, never stingy with the prosecco, lively atmosphere and brilliant value. It's the 4th time I've visited for the bottomless brunch! I'm a big fan.
Good food, but didn’t get to try much from
The menu on this occasion. Will make another trip. :)
My 15-year old son went with a school friend for a dose of independence. They absolutely loved the place. The atmosphere is funky and buzzy, and the food simply excellent. A combination of comfort eating and adventure. Special mention goes to the chicken wings, of dinosaur proportions, with a special sticky spicy sauce that is unequalled anywhere else.
Everything about the restaurant was great. The only thing I was disappointed by was the fact that when I asked the waiter to bring an extra piece of chicken wings, by bringing us smaller pieces overall since we were 4 people and there were only 3 pieces, she adamantly said no without even asking the kitchen. When I asked here if she would please ask the chef and get back to me, she said she cannot as she knows they will say no which was quite disappointing.
Would be good for a group if you had a table to yourself but as a couple the communal dining means you're sat opposite and far away from each other and very close to the people next to you. Ruined the experience, otherwise really good food.
Really good food! Very poor customer service. They can improve on their customer service.
