Our service was excellent and the food was delicious.
Holly was the best...Thank you
The food was good and so was the service. The stairs leading to the room below was extremely challenging for my husband. For an elderly person this was a hardship. No one suggested an elevator.
We waited for our wine for 20 minutes and ate our starter before the wine arrived. The price of the dinner for 2 was $240 but to be honest, there are other places we can go to spend that kind of money and get an equivalent of what was served to us. Surprised and under impressed.
We had a good experience. Not great because I was brought the wrong entree, but our server and the manager went out of their way to make up for it. The food was excellent and since we’ve been there before we know that mistakes aren’t the norm.
The waiter and the busboy were very, patient, knowledgeable, helpful and responsive.
It was our anniversary and of course we chose Fleming’s to celebrate. This is our favorite place for special occasions. My husband and I love the steaks, the sides and of course the lava cake! The service is always wonderful and though it’s is on the pricey side, we think it’s always worth it!
We started with the shrimp cocktail and pork belly for appetizers and they did not disappoint. So yummy and a great start. I chose the bone-in ribeye paired with a glass of Malbec. Hubby got the filet and we shared the potatoes au gratin and sautéed mushrooms. We shared the lava cake which is the best way to end the meal. I had indicated that it was our anniversary when I made the reservation and they wrote a little greeting on our dessert plate.
Overall a great experience. We have been dining here for about 15 years and we will definitely be celebrating many more special occasions here.
Very good! Service was excellent! I mentioned it was our 2nd wedding anniversary and they added nice touches with a card and truffles to-go.
We love dining Fleming’s at Fashion Island one of our favorite places in Newport
Sunday evening prefix meal and service was outstanding.
Great place to celebrate anniversary for two couples.
Pros: The food was great but what made this experience the best was our waiter Hi. He was professional, a genuine hearted person, He was was the perfect example of a great waiter! Sometimes it’s not how how great the food is but how Amazing your experience is and Hi provided us with a great experience and he left us with gems for life💕 He made my mom Birthday special mmm my
Flemings is one our our favorites, we usually sit in the bar but decided to mix things up and sit in the dining room. Our meal was absolutely amazing and service was on par.
Celebrated my husband's retirement. Staff very friendly, food excellent.
Great dinner with wonderful service. Our steaks were delicious as were all the side dishes. We will definitely return.
Straight up the best place ever!!! Jennifer was the best waitress, try to sit in her section.
Food was fabulous service was excellent
Birthday dinner with friends
The steak was chewy and not good the Fleming’s potatoes where horrible burnt. It use to be my favorite but something has definitely happened. Service was great just bad food for $300
Had the Sunday surf and turf special, great food at a reasonable price. Service was excellent.
Excellent steaks and seafood we enjoy all the food at Flemings
The food never disappoints!
Date night. You can't go wrong with this place. We come here 4-5 in a year.
Dinner is expensive, but great quality.
Food quality was great but service truly could have been much better, we asked for the fillet to be butterfly cut but they didn't do it.
For the price they charge they need to improve their service level.
Service was slow for us being one of the four tables being used. Food was okay not something worth the money. Waitress was polite. Not impressed for such a high end restaurant I would chose somewhere else.
We had to been to Fleming's previously and ate inside. For this particular visit, we opted for lunch on their patio. We were promptly seated and then did not see a waiter for 10 minutes. The order was taken and then after 30 minutes, I found the hostess and indicated that after 30 minutes, we had not received our salad. When it arrived, it was wilted and soggy. After 3 minutes, then our main course showed up and it was overdone. The hostess came over to explain that there were several large parties that were there also which to us meant that they were much more important than a table of 2. Flemings knew they had poor service but did nothing to correct the sitatuion.
Great food and service.
I always enjoy dining at Fleming’s. The quality of food and service is over the top. I love that you can have a conversation and hear each other. Some restaurants are so noisy. The presentation is special.
Enjoyed a lovely lunch at Fleming's during NB Restaurant Week. The only thing that caused it from being perfect was the $10 surcharge for the filet mignon, not an extra charge in past Restaurant Week menus. Although two of our foursome ordered the filet, it added 50% to our overall bill. It was a birthday celebration, and we ordered wine and coffee in addition to our meals anyway.
It was the first time for my 13 year old daughter who loves steak.
She was so impressed with bisque soup and filets mignon.
It is rare she eats until she get really full but today she could not stop.
Our server was very nice with smile. Very nice special lunch date.
Always a great experience at Flemings
Meat was overcooked. Ordered medium rare and came medium well. Crab legs were small and not very tasty (unless you add all the melted butter that they give you on the side). The restaurant inside is nice, a little noisy but it was packed and sometimes you miss that in OC. The outdoor area was calm but lacks personality. Not impressed. Honestly, buying a good piece of meat and crab legs at Costco seems a better option.
Our server, Danielle, was lovely and attentive. The food was fantastic. Really enjoyed the experience!
This is one of our favorites and it did not disappoint us
Took my wife there for our anniversary in Novemeber. The Chef over cooked my steak and under cooked my wife's steak. Decided to give Fleming's a second chance since its been one of my favorite restaurants.
Had a reservation at 7:30. Did not get seated till almost 8:00.
We had a wonderful dinner at Fleming’s tonite, but I was sad that my waitress didn’t acknowledge my birthday. We were greeted by the hostess who said happy birthday, but somehow it didn’t get communicated to our waitress🙁
Waited over 5min to be greeted by the server. Once we had our food found the main dish was good, however, the sides (fries & onion rings) were ice cold. Server never came back until we were done, therefore, couldn’t get the sides redone. Not sure if it was because we were ordering off the Happy Hour menu. As a customer service manager myself your food and establishment and overall experience are only as good as the server. Very disappointed.
Great service and consistently delicious food.
Good food, highly recommend the Grass Fed Waygu Filet. Service was great!
