Excellent service-friendly, efficient server. Lively atmosphere but relatively quiet as we sat outside. The Trigger fish sandwich was delicious. We had a reservation for 11:30 AM and were seated promptly. By 12:30 there was a line of people waiting so it’s a popular place.
Reservations honored on time, hostess was friendly, table outside was perfect, server was attentive and knowledgeable, food was excellent. A little pricey, but not bad. Been here many times, great place.
The food was ordinary...it was just okay
The service was fine
Only the view made it worth it
Too many other good choices...so we won’t be back
just dont miss it!!!!
they even made it all work with a large construction project going on next to th em
once in side it was only a cool water view
Is a great place for dinning and hanging out with family and friends
Athena was awesome! Followed one of her recommendations and the food was awesome! Paid great attention to my friends seafood allergy and he loved his food as well! The atmosphere was great and certainly will return!
Construction of hotel next door was stopped between noon and 1 pm, so it was quiet, but other times there is pile driving going on and you can’t have conversations at all.
Waiter Tom was wonderful! Very thoughtful and efficient.
Food was well-priced but hot food came out tepid-cool.
Good food and great place to have fresh seafood delicacies.
Went as a family while visiting Charleston. One of the only river front restaurants right next to all of the tourist attractions so it was perfect. Food was amazing, and we got a table right next to the river. Crap cakes and the whole flounder were top notch. Crispy and not dry.
I wasn't impressed with this restaurant. Our waitress was not very friendly and the food wasn't very tasty. This was an expensive meal but it was extremely overpriced for what it was. I will not return.
The food was excellent from appetizer to dessert. Great service.
Great food and fast service. Definitely will be going back.
Low quality food, rice had no flavor, poor service
Great service
Meal and drinks were great
Weather was perfect, sat outside. Food was fantastic. Best shrimp and grits! Also had stuffed hush puppies, crab dip and a fried green tomato BLY. Sad they had no soft shell crab, after seeing it posted on Facebook.
Service was fabulous, food was average, with exception of crab cake it was really good! Long wait for food.
Food wasn’t much to get excited about. My sandwich didn’t have much taste. The kids meal was expensive and didn’t include a drink. For $10, a grilled cheese and fries could have been much cheaper.
We'll be back, especially for the calamari!!! It's marinated in buttermilk for 24 hours, the size of mozzarella sticks! All 3 seafood seafood dinners we ordered were delicious. Made a good Old Fashion. Wouldn't go without a reservation.
Great food and atmosphere. Our waitress Ali was great!!
Wonderful food! Service was outstanding and just a great vibe!
Our first time eating here. The view is amazing. The service and food was ok. I was put off when I asked for a straw for my drink , the server told me I could buy a metal straw for.50. Use paper straws like other restaurants or highlight in your menu and website. We were rushed. It was a busy Wednesday night.
It was very busy, but the crowd was efficiently managed. The staff was polite and accommodating, and the food was outstanding! Highly recommend.
Super fun lunch at a very efficiently run restaurant! Loved the friendly staff who really seemed to engage!
We got a lot of recommendations for this place because it's the only downtown Charleston restaurant on the water...it was good, but not great. It's definitely more for the tourists than for the locals. Being on the water, we expected really great seafood and it didn't particularly live up to the expectations. It was fine, but I'm sure there are much better dining options if you're looking for great food. The view outside is nice, but again, if you want great seafood, I'd recommend finding somewhere else.
Well paced service, never felt rushed. Gloria is a 5 star waitress. Tasty food served at the proper temperature
Food was great, plentiful, hot...everything we wanted. The construction noise outside forced us indoors, but we could still see the water. They are doing a great job here, where the prime location could allow them to “phone it in” and not offer quality food...instead they are really maximizing their menu, portions and service. This is a must-go place on our Charleston visits.
Love that this is kid friendly and able to have an ocean view. Food was good. Highly recommend you make reservations or you’ll be waiting awhile. We will be back.
Great food, service and location. Highly recommend!!!
Good food and drink good outside area parking limited
The service was friendly and fast! The water view was beautiful when the sun is out it's beautiful but if shaded make sure to bring a jacket!
Good food, awesome waiter!
Love the she-crab soup and the blackened triggerfish sandwich. Great service and very good Bloody Mary.
Great food, great atmosphere, and the best waiter!
The boil was less then expected, hardly any shrimp but if I wanted corn sure 5 ears of corn aI bit much.
I love being able to sit and look out to the ocean while I eat.
Went there for our last dinner in Charleston before our move! Only place we would go for our last meal!
All elements of the evening-drinks, appetizers, meal & dessert-were OUTSTANDING! Service was also second to none! I’d highly recommend as a “must visit” while in Charleston!
EXCELLENT service! Excellent food!!
Our server Michael was amazing and very attentive. Crab cakes and crab bruschetta were tasty. Highly recommend the Blackened shrimp, scallops and sheepshead fish. Very casual atmosphere, great for families and larger groups
Definitely a great choice. Sampled everything and nothing disappointed. Waitress was extremely good and provided the best service. Even with Covid restrictions I felt like it was normal dinner. Restaurant takes precautions seriously masks required to speak to staff and all wear appropriately. Plastic dividers on top of booths. Tables angled instead of straight provided more distance as well. Some outdoor seating was also available. We had stuffed hush puppies, spinach and artichoke dip, she crab soup, scallops, yellow fin tuna steak, Charleston red rice, fried okra, and green beans.
