Fleet Landing Restaurant & Bar
We chose Fleets Landing because their menu included fresh fish and a variety of options for our family. The portions were small but the prices were not. We had to ask for bread and literally the bread was a sub roll with butter on it. We had to wait forever to get service. The menu really was not as diverse as we anticipated. The flavors were just ok for the sauce on the cod and other dishes were salty. Our teenagers thought the location was great but the smell outside of the restaurant was awful.
Great restaurant with waterfront dining available. Dine while watching various waterfowl and boats going by. Wonderful service, delicious food especially the seafood. Lowcountry options available. Excellent cocktails. Reservations recommended because of the popularity of the restaurant. Limited free parking.
The table was perfect to look out onto the water. My friends, from out of state, enjoyed everything about the Fleet Landing. The waitress was excellent - friendly, helpful and efficient. She was also very patient as we were talking and not paying any attention to the menu and choosing our lunch. She was fantastic! I've gone and had lunch and dinner at the Landing before and will continue to go there. It's the perfect place to eat.
Unfortunately, not as good as in the past! Food presentation just ok! My wife had the Fried Shrimp platter and I had the Fried Oyster platter 8 small Shrimp or Oysters , plenty of fries but bland Cole Slaw. Our waitress Megan was very good (best part of the meal)! Based on there prices and lack lust food I can not recommend them. It's a shame since previous visits were very good. To many other good restaurants in Charleston to spend my money at!!!
Overall, the food was very good, but they fall down on service. The entrees were delivered just a few minutes after the salad which is not acceptable.
Fleet Landing is our “go to” place with guests in Charleston! Beautiful view, great food & friendly service!
This was not my first time dining at Fleet Landing but they never disappoint! My favorite item on the menu is the hush puppies appetizer— an oversized hush puppy stuffed with shrimp and lobster! Delicious.
Service was great. Waiter was attentive. Good conversation Was interested in our visit. Offered advice on local attractions
However Food was average at best. Fish was dry and bland. Rice was tough. She crab soup was good.
One of our go to places for lunch in Charleston. The food never disappoints.
Amazing view with great food! Definitely get the stuffed hush puppies.
You must go when visiting Charleston. Great seafood. Casual. Make a reservation if it’s the weekend
Excellent food. Our server, James was very attentive and polite. We always enjoy dining here.
Make a reservation on Sundays to avoid a long wait. The place was packed and for good reason!
Fried green tomatoes are great!
Girls weekend with mom and daughter
Only dining actually on the water. Make a reservation or you will have a long wait if you’re a walk in
Try the blue crab dip and crackers!!!!! Delicious. Also the special hush puppies. Shrimp and grits and gumbo, you can’t go wrong
We had oysters, scallops, shrimp and grits and the combo plate and all were fabulous. Nice view and a cool breeze on the patio
My meal was a bit disappointing. But I may return just for appetizers
The food was just okay. I’ve had better at home and at other establishments. They’re overpriced for the quality and serving size. The view is nice, the best part. The inside looks like a hole in the wall. Our server was great, but the bartender during Happy Hour was rude & unprofessional. They were rushing and they weren’t super busy. I’m local and I won’t go back.
We were in Charleston for 4 days on a mini vacation and Fleet Landing was the best meal we had while there! ❤️ the little biscuits and some of the BEST shrimp and grits I have ever had!
Great place to have seafood & drinks...and the view is pretty awesome too.
My first time at Fleet Landing and it was great. The service and food were excellent. The atmosphere was perfect. I’ll go again for sure.
Best seafood meal we had in Charleston! We ordered the special for the night Blackened Red Snapper. Delicious!!! Also order a starter of grilled shrimp with Pimento Cheese Grits. It also was a great choice. Finished the meal off with pecan pie. It was homemade and delicious!!!
I was concerned because it was advertised so much that the food would be institutionalized but not the case.
We also used the Open Table app for reservations. The best decision ever! No waiting at all. Table waiting on us!
Absolutely loved the food and the seating out on the patio which is overlooking the water!
Our anniversary dinner was made even more special due to our server Landon. He was very attentive and willing to honor a few special requests. They even gave us a choice of complementary champagne or dessert to celebrate our special occasion. Food was delicious and our request for outdoor seating was honored. Will definitely return to Fleet Landing the next time we are in Charleston!
My family was visiting from New Jersey & we wanted to ale them somewhere special. We loved being on the water & the food and service was excellent!
The food was wonderful! I went with my 2 sisters who had never been to Charleston. We sat outside and enjoyed the terrific view and breeze. Our waiter was fun and very attentive. Overall super experience!
First time here for my 30th birthday and it was GREAT! I’m glad I made reservations because the couple in front of us had a 10-15 minute wait. We were seated exactly at the reserved time! Will definitely be back during the daytime to enjoy the view even more!!
Food was excellent. Our waiter went above and beyond.
Our waiter made the whole experience even better. The shrimp and grits were amazing. The wine was priced very well by the bottle.
My dad now compares every fish dish we eat to the fried flounder here that tells the story.
MY EXPERIENCE ON FRIDAY, AUGUST 24, 2018 WENT VERY WELL.
Food was very good and great value. The Crispy Flounder with Apricot sauce was fantastic! Service was a little slow but they were very busy.
Our waiter was wonderful and all his recommendation were great.
We had a great time! Great food! I would highly recommend to anyone who is visiting Charleston!!!
A beautiful setting for a very mediocre food.
Traveling from Cleveland and wanted to try a restaurant on the water in Charleston. Very nice, waiter was great, food was yummy (especially the seafood pasta)
We sat outside, very nice. Service was great and food very tasty
There was nothing particularly bad about this restaurant but there was nothing remarkable either. Food was under seasoned and she crab soup had no flavor at all. Others in my party said their food was fine, but nothing special. With all the exceptional restaurants in the area I doubt I will be back but other folks may like this place.
