Fleet Landing Restaurant & Bar is Charleston's Best Waterfront Dining with a focus on local and sustainable produce and seafood. Housed in a 1940s retired naval building on the east side of the Charleston peninsula, Fleet Landing features a fusion of classic and contemporary Southern seafood fare in a setting that celebrates the area's waterfront heritage.

We take reservations and invite you to make them as far in advance as possible, as they fill up weeks in advance. We always invite walk-ins to join the waitlist when you arrive. If there is no availability on OpenTable, we are fully committed for reservations, and you are invited to join the waitlist when you arrive. For groups of 5-10, please give us a call at 843.722.8100. Larger groups are usually booked several weeks in advance. The largest group that we are able to accommodate is 10 guests.

    After discovering it about a year ago, we always work a dinner at Fleet Landing into every visit to Charleston. We have been there several times and the food is consistently superb, from the stuffed hush puppies to the combo plates and all the seafood dishes. Those in the group who aren't seafood fans rave about the chicken piccata. The staff and servers are especially attentive without being overbearing. The casual atmosphere and extraordinary view make for a fun evening out.

    Our server was ALLIE and she was fantastic. She made great menu recommendations and was just had a fantastic attitude. Our food was outstanding and we had a beautiful outside table with a great view of the harbor.

    We were going to go to another restaurant, but yours was recommended and my friend that I was very glad we went there. We have the seared salmon with rice and green beans and we both had a dessert and the salmon was the best I’ve ever had looking forward for another trip over that way in the near future. !!

    Loved our waiter who was friendly engaging. He made excellent food recommendations and (thankfully) encouraged us to order the stuffed hush puppies- they were SO good! Sweet tea was on point- sweet but not too sweet, and the crab was incredible. Hats off to the chef! We look forward to returning

    We were seated outdoors. There was a great view of the cruise ship harbored and observed dolphins swimming nearby. Everyone in our party enjoyed the food that was ordered. Our server was very helpful and attentive.

    I usually have the shrimp and grits, but I was lured to the quiche this time. Everyone found something that spoke to them on the menu and everyone was super happy with their choice. Our table on the outside deck was a perfect spot.

    Fleet Landing never disappoints! Food is great and so consistent. Maddie was our server, she was serving several full tables and she didn't miss a beat and she had a smile on her face the whole time and was so pleasant.

    In celebrating my birthday with my wife I wanted to treat her as well as myself to good seafood and just a nice meal..She enjoyed it very much and that made my day..I did as well!! Shrimp po boy, fried green tomatoes and artichoke dip!!

    Last stop before heading home. Sat outside on this beautiful day for an early lunch. Saw a few dolphins and enjoyed the view and food. Great fried shrimp, stuffed hushpuppies and oysters. Can never go wrong here.

    We had an amazing dinner at Fleet! We were lucky to get seated in the covered deck and we watched a rain storm go by. It was so relaxing! We had the she crab soup which was delicious! The shrimp and grits were awesome! I had a wedge salad with a crab cake. We will definitely be back!

    Awesome seafood! We celebrated our anniversary with complimentary champagne. The service is excellent. The shrimp platter was to die for! Make sure to order the pimento cheese grits! Highly recommended!

    Lunch time. Fleet is on the river so views are great. Ate inside at a window. Food was excellent, our server was also excellent (I believe her name was MaeLea). It is an open, large restaurant which is very popular so the noise level is greater than some others. It is not fancy and also very convenient to the market and other downtown destinations. We were pleased with our selections of shecrab soup and swordfish and will definitely return.
