Fleet Landing Restaurant & Bar
Local oysters were sweet. Maki was perfectly cooked and nicely sauced. Rice portion was inexplicably tiny. Dessert tart was delicious.
Outstanding food, service, and ambiance. Not too expensive and a great spot for all.
Never miss the opportunity to dine at Fleet Landing when we are in the Charleston area. The food and service are always great.
Great location but think I was expecting more from the reviews. Calamari was delicious!
Service and food were great! Will be back again!
I was given a dirty water glass with lipstick still on the glass. That started my bad experience at this restaurant. I had to point out to the waiter and immediately asked for a straw. I was told they charge 1.00 for a metal straw. That was fine. What wasn’t fine was the waiter completely forgot about me requesting it. I ordered the soup that came out lukewarm and the salmon that came out salty. I am not a local but someone who’s in town for business. I wished my experience was better at this restaurant since it was highly recommended at the hotel I stayed at.
Still our Go To dining spot in Charleston, but prices have gone up a good bit over the past year, after holding flat for several years. Not much more room price wise before it will affect the score - let’s hope the increases are over.
We were seated immediately and had a beautiful view! We ordered the hush puppies as an appetizer and unfortunately 0/4 of us liked them... My daughter ordered the seafood pasta and said it was too salty, and I ordered the fired trout which was tasteless. Our drinks remained in filled for most of the meal.
The preparation and presentation were excellent. I had their shrimp & grits, which was wonderful.
Vacation in Charleston
A mixed bag. Nice to eat outside and to have a waterfront view (Look! Dolphins!) My fried flounder was excellent. But my wife hated her shrimp, saying it tasted like rubber and hadnt been cleaned. The restaurant was nice enough to comp her food.
I chose this restaurant because of its location on the water and was a bit worried it might be mainly a tourist destination but was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and service. We sat on the balcony overlooking the water which was lovely.
Service was great. Recognized our wedding anniversary in many ways including our request for window seating. Jason our waiter was super friendly and highly professional (we eat out a lot)
We chose to eat here on recommendation and from reviews online. We booked a reservation and were seated outside at a lovely table overlooking the water.
Our server Mike was very good and helped us choose some very tasty appetizers and our dinners as well. We both ordered the fresh Snapper which was pan seared and served with a butter dill sauce which we chose from several sauces offered. We began with the fried green tomato crab stack which was delicious and also had their
signature crab and lobster stuffed hushpuppies. These two items alone could be a dinner.
The collard greens as a side were delicious. We also got some green beans with our dinner that were very tasty. We were too stuffed to try any dessert!
I would come here to eat again. Do ask which fish is fresh and which is not if you are wanting a fresh catch of the day.
The seared fish was excellent but the famous shrimp and grits had mushy shrimp.
Great as usual
Great waterfront restaurant with outdoor seating available! Fresh catch of the day. Great food and service. We visit Charleston at least once a year and Fleet Landing is always on our list. Get a reservation!
The food was amazing as usual and our waitress was fantastic. I always go to Fleet when I am visiting Charleston!!
Nice casual dining on waterfront. Food was good and service was prompt and attentive with service and informative.
Love this place and recommend it all the time. You can even see Fort Sumter from inside the restaurant. Lindsey is the best hostess in America along with Conner and Wes at the bar.
Was okay! Crab cake appetizer was small! The noise level was just too high for my liking! This has been one of our go to spots but it’s getting a little stale on the menu selections! Time for a change! Oh....you can’t get a straw for your iced tea because they are saving the sea turtle. However, you can still get plastic stir straws at the bar! I guess stir straws are safe for turtles!
Restaurant in a great location in Charleston. Parking garage within short walking distance. Hostess very nice. Server nice but not as attentive as she should have been. Food was a little pricey for what was served. Quality of food was good.
The view was the best part. That is if you could get a table with one. We did & were happy.
We had a wonderful visit, first time in Charleston. The food was excellent, beautiful presentation. Window table with a great view.
The hostess accomodated our needs and ended up changing our table after a request to move to a more scenic location. The service and the food were excellent. We also appreciated the waitress giving us 4 separate checks. I'm glad we sat outside because the inside was very noisy and not suitable for conversation. All in all, it was a lovely evening.
We go to Fleet Landing every Sunday after church. Their Fleet Pepper Vodka Bloody Mary is out of this world. Try the Fleet Landing Signature burger with Pimiento Cheese. Service is wonderful and the views are the best in Charleston.
The food was good - not as good as we were lead to believe but fine
Rude manager. We had to wait to be seated even though there were plenty of tables available
Took my niece for her first visit. We were able to reserve a table outside and had a great view.
Our waiter was excellent and gave good recommendations.
My niece loved her She crab soup and shrimp and grits. My meal was also very good.
My favorite restaurant, no more. Twice in a row, within 2weeks, service, but specially the food were below average.
I do not honk I will return
Best swordfish I ever had!
Michael did a great job with recommendations and service! The She Crab soup was wonderful and my husband enjoyed the low country boil! The Huguenot Torte was delicious!
Excellent food and friendly service. Beautiful views!
Outstanding food, service, ambiance, and overall experience. Our server was outstanding! Using Open Table enabled us to walk right in.
This place is very crowded. Food was very good. But it was loud and very drafty in the restaurant. Better to visit on a warmer day and during daylight hours.
Always a stop for me whenever I am in Charleston! Can always count on great local seafood and an attentive wait staff. Reservations are a must or if you don't mind waiting the bar is a great place to enjoy a drink or just have your meal there! Charleston's only waterfront restaurant.
Great food, service and location. They could fix the place up but the other things overshadow the lack of ambience.
Food and menu was very good.
Our server, Mike was exceptional.
He explained the selections in detail and was very attentive to our needs.
We will be back.
Our waiter was the best. He made great recommendations and gave honest replies when asked about different menu items. Also when he saw I wasn’t eating the veggie that came with my meal he volunteered to bring me something else. I wish I remembered his name because I would ask to sit at his table again.
Outdoor seating was perfect for great view of water and table conversation. Our server, Jason, was exceptional. The food was delicious! A perfect dining experience while in Charleston!
We had reservations at 530 arrived few minutes early. We were seated immediately. It's a lively place with the tables being quickly. The bar stayed full the whole time. I had crispy whole flounder. Had the apricot sauce on the side. Served along with red rice and butter beans. The flounder was great. Very few places serve whole flounder like that. Definitely will be back.
