   Our second visit but our friends first and wanted to treat them and to celebrate her, Mary's birthday. Had a great table for 4 at the window which gave us some privacy from within and was greeted by our host Natasha, cheerful and upbeat. I remember her from our previous visit. She was great..gave us the rundown on the days specials, asked if we wanted drinks first and we were still in time for 'happy hour', so we ordered some items from that menu along with some drinks. We ordered their own wine, an Okanagan blend, to follow with dinner. The cerviche was fabulous as was the lobster bisque and of course we had to have fresh shucked oysters. All was fabulous. For our mains, Mary had the Ling Cod, my wife had the Wild Halibut Poutine and Ron and I had the Paella, my favorite and he liked it A Lot..In fact everyone enjoyed their meals immensely..!! We all were nodding in approval as we ate our way through dinner. Natasha was very attentative when needed and gave us space as the evening progressed. Dessert was questionable, as to whether we could eat any more, but one had to have his dessert and ordered the Brulee for Mary, but he ate most of it. My wife and I settled for Spanish Coffees, one Decaf, mine regular. It was a very successful evening and Natasha also made it so. She was great..and when wishing Mary a Happy birthday again, in came the Brulee on a plate with Happy Birthday scrolled in dark chocolate and a candle. So awesome and over the top. She thanked us for coming in..and hoping to see us again which I'm sure will happen. Kudos to the chef from Peru as Natasha menitoned, for his wonderful creations. It was Fabulous.....

   If you are looking for a place that is lively but where you can still have a conversation at your table, Fishworks fits the bill. The food always delivers with both the menu and the specials, and the staff is friendly and efficient.

   This is one of our favourite places to frequent on the North Shore. Food is always great. Service is excellent. We had scallops in a broth for starter which was a new dish for us.... absolutely delicious. Out kids love the pasta and it's a good size for a couple of younger kids to split.

   The night was a special birthday dinner for my wife. A nice quiet mid week dinner alone with her. We have not been there recently but it has always had a great reputation for quality food. We were not disappointed. The Salmon Wellington was fantastic for my wife and I had the Paella was great too. There was a large family party near us but we got great service with no issues. Extra bread was requested and quickly received. An fantastic night topped with a surprise candle dish with chocolate treat for my wife's birthday.

   Everything was done perfectly. The Happy Hour menu is excellent value. We had the halibut special and it was amazing. Service was outstanding.

   Everything was perfect, the servers were friendly and attentive smd the seafood was spectacular! Our first time in Vancouver has been out of this world!

   This was my 3rd visit for Happy Hour at Fishworks. The 2 food items we each had were delicious. Nice combinations of flavors and textures with a bit of world cuisine influences. Service was brisk and attentive thanks to Natasha. Look forward to going there again.
