   We absolutely loved the menu in this place. Really well thought out dishes with beautiful local produce all set in a very edgy bistro restaurant. The food itself is very, very well cooked and clearly prepared with a great deal of care and attention. The langoustine bisque pasta, chowder and thai curry were exemplary choices and were extremely tasty. Although we didn't have it, the fish and chips that was taken to another table beside us looked delicious and seemed to win over the diners who ate it. Only (slight) criticism would be the dishes took a while to come out as did the drinks etc. A very minor point as this is really a restaurant where one should come to dine and enjoy rather than dine and rush. p.s. - Excellent wine list. Really great to see a good selection of classic French wines that could be very well paired to many of the dishes on the menu. The Batard-Montrachet looked like the best choice for some of the more special fish dishes.

   4 of us met for lunch after a morning shopping. The set menu had reasonable choice and 3 of us had that. The 4th went a la carte for the mussels and fish cakes. There was a little too much potato in the fish cakes, but that was the only criticism we had. The portions on the set menu were more than enough for lunch. The sticky toffee pudding ranks as one of the best we've eaten. Definitely an excellent place for lunch & despite the warning that we would only have the table for 2 hours, we stayed longer and were not rushed.

   Great choice of seafood and everything looked and tasted fresh and well prepared. Dessert choice was limited and a bit uninspiring, but you don't really go to a seafood restaurant for the desserts.

   I have booked this venue for a belayed birthday lunch with a friend. We have booked for an early Saturday lunch and when we arrived at 12.30pm the place was almost full. Great lively atmosphere and attentive service. Would happily recommend.

   My husband and I had a late lunch here on Saturday, the service is really friendly and they can't do enough for you. Food was excellent.

    Business or social the atmosphere is relaxed, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable of the available menu. Portions are more than adequate, I will definitely be back.
