Had a lunch with 2 friends. We sat outside on a lovely sunny day in a comfortable, covered, shady area. It was clean and quiet with no cars passing , just a few people walking past. It didn’t feel like we were just around the corner from Liverpool Street station. The food was delicious. We had fried whitebait to start and fish croquettes. Seabass fillets as main. All cooked beautifully and so fresh and tasty. We had dessert. Forest berry pavlova, crème Chantilly & raspberry sorbet, Dark chocolate mousse, raspberry compote and a selection of sorbets. It was a set menu lunch at £30 for 3 courses and a glass of house wine which was very good. Such good value.

Fish was some of the best I’ve had for a while, the sharing fish platter was beautifully prepared and served, really tasty, especially the Octopus in a slightly spicy sauce.

The restaurant is easy to find. Warm welcome and lovely alfresco dining if preference to being inside. Food is outstanding and good value fir money. Not a cheap place to eat but well worth the money. Definitely on our list if restaurants to visit again.

I had booked this restaurant as it had outdoor seating and offered a specially priced 'Agust menu' which offered good value. Our booking was at 7.45pm and I was surprised to be told on arrival that the special offer menu was for bookings up to 7pm as there was no mention of this on either the restaurant's website or Open Table when I made the booking. After querying this with the manager, he did eventually honour the offer and said he would make the timing clear on the website. We were happy with the way he handled the issue and the food and service were excellent.

We had the sea food platter which we enjoyed followed up with a tasty fish and chips. The staff were friendly I could not fault my experience at the restaurant

Limited menu (a good thing IMHO), but expertly prepared , balanced flavours. Good but pricey wine list (hey, it’s London) I’d recommend it without hesitation

I went for lunch with my mum at 1:30 on a Saturday. We both had the three course brunch menu, which costs £32. We had grilled octopus, sea bass and mango sorbet, plus we ordered some sides (roast new potatoes, a divine heirloom tomato salad and green beans). The food was all delicious and our waitress was lovely. Plus as the weather was nice we sat outside, which was very peaceful as it's slightly back from the main road. Overall, a lovely experience and I'd definitely return.
