Experience the beauty of the Pacific Ocean combined with world-class dining on historic Cannery Row, just a short walk from the Monterey Bay Aquarium. The newly renovated Fish Hopper, housed in an original sardine cannery building, offers spectacular views of the stunning Monterey Bay from every table, including our heated outdoor patio. The Fish Hopper specializes in fresh, sustainable seafood, certified Angus beef, pastas, and live shellfish. Our seafood is either locally caught or shipped in fresh daily, and our produce is locally grown in the Salinas Valley. Some favorites include fresh Monterey Bay abalone, macadamia-crusted halibut, our famous “Tomahawk Chop” bone-in rib eye, and fresh Dungeness crab. Start your meal with our award-winning clam chowder, and indulge in one of our many exotic cocktail creations or a selection from our extensive wine collection.     We always stop here if we’re anywhere near when we travel. We have never had a bad meal. The best clam chowder I’ve ever had. Our combo seafood plate was shareable and more than enough for two. Service was excellent. We moved tables twice, once for a different view and again for a wobbly table. Staff was wonderful! We’ll be back!

    The ahi tuna is as amazing as it was the first time I had it and the veggies and rice on the side were perfection. My husband has the tuna for the first time and said I was right, its the best he has had. The heaters on the patio are turned up pretty high (since its on the water front) so if you are sensitive to heat request indoor seating.

    We had a wonderful experience dining here for lunch. The view was breathtaking and the food was fabulous. As good as the food was, the service was better.

    Great ocean views watching otters and seals, particularly the entertaining seagulls outside our window. The service was amazing as was the food!! Highly recommend.

    It was awesome. Amazing view, excellent service, and the food was delicious!! Super last minute decision to eat here as we just got into town and I will let you know that it did not disappoint. Plus the Mothers Day roses was so special.

    The tables were cramped to each other and they had some music going over the PA that was so loud very uncomfortable. The food was decent.

    Awesome birthday surprise! They gave me free calamari for my celebration! Great service by Bismarck! Thank you. We enjoyed our lunch. The best clam chowder!
