Experience the beauty of the Pacific Ocean combined with world-class dining on historic Cannery Row, just a short walk from the Monterey Bay Aquarium. The newly renovated Fish Hopper, housed in an original sardine cannery building, offers spectacular views of the stunning Monterey Bay from every table, including our heated outdoor patio. The Fish Hopper specializes in fresh, sustainable seafood, certified Angus beef, pastas, and live shellfish. Our seafood is either locally caught or shipped in fresh daily, and our produce is locally grown in the Salinas Valley. Some favorites include fresh Monterey Bay abalone, macadamia-crusted halibut, our famous “Tomahawk Chop” bone-in rib eye, and fresh Dungeness crab. Start your meal with our award-winning clam chowder, and indulge in one of our many exotic cocktail creations or a selection from our extensive wine collection.     Great service, lovely view (location is superb), the food was great too. The only reason Iwe don't give it 5* all around is that we found the choice rather limited. But please do not hget this wrong - the quality of the food and the service were great!

    This place was horrible. They want it to be “fine dining” experience. They even have a rude sign in-front saying your kids can’t be load. Even though the whole place is load. Honestly the food is no different than bubba gumps. All looked recently defrosted. My husband took 1 bit of his pasta and the server and nobody even asked us if it was ok. How we liked our food nothing. They asked if we were finished and wanted a box. But never why we didn’t touch a whole bowl of pasta. We won’t be coming back.

    Overly priced for the portions you get. All three of us were still hungry after our entrees. A small bowl of clam chowder was $23!?!?

    Had a wonderful dining experience at The Fish Hopper!! We were celebrating Mother’s Day and Father’s Day with our parents and they made it great!! They seated us with views all around us and the food was great!!! Thank you for making it PERFECT!

    The food was truly fantastic and our waiter Orion was perfectly attentive. Ambiance was great and the property is beautiful. It is expensive, for the quality of the food it was overpriced. All being said, we would go back, now that we have an expectation of the price

    Fish Hopper is a great lunch experience. The service is excellent. The food is excellent. And, the view from patio seating is outstanding. It is a relaxed experience. The staff is attentive and not too overly attentive.
