Experience the beauty of the Pacific Ocean combined with world-class dining on historic Cannery Row, just a short walk from the Monterey Bay Aquarium. The newly renovated Fish Hopper, housed in an original sardine cannery building, offers spectacular views of the stunning Monterey Bay from every table, including our heated outdoor patio. The Fish Hopper specializes in fresh, sustainable seafood, certified Angus beef, pastas, and live shellfish. Our seafood is either locally caught or shipped in fresh daily, and our produce is locally grown in the Salinas Valley. Some favorites include fresh Monterey Bay abalone, macadamia-crusted halibut, our famous “Tomahawk Chop” bone-in rib eye, and fresh Dungeness crab. Start your meal with our award-winning clam chowder, and indulge in one of our many exotic cocktail creations or a selection from our extensive wine collection.     We had the local special and the portions are a bit meager. I had the Linguini and claims but the sauce wasn't good and the claims were small and tough. Never again. Services was very good and the desert was quite good.

    Amazing food and top service! The views were perfect and beautiful. We got some cocktails and a few of the beers they had to offer and were not disappointed! Their seafood is one of the best my boyfriend and I have tried. Definitely worth a visit.

    My wife and I celebrated our anniversary last weekend and Fish Hopper did not disappoint. We had great service from the reception to the Bartender Fausto and our server Orion. The cioppino was awesome that was set up by the bacon-wrapped scallops. Overall ... the evening was just awesome.

    Visiting our military Grandson and took him for our last night together dinner here. Service was exceptional, views were beautiful and out food exceptional. The sardine appetizer was a must since we were eating on Cannery Row. Our dishes were fish and chips, clam chowder bowl (wow!) and a wonder stuffed sole dish. You must go!

    Great service, lovely view (location is superb), the food was great too. The only reason Iwe don't give it 5* all around is that we found the choice rather limited. But please do not hget this wrong - the quality of the food and the service were great!
