   Just an incredibly memorable experience. All courses created a a desire to go back for more and the elevated experience created by the staff was impeccable. Must do while I'm Deer Valley! Will be back for sure!

   Okay so “yes” it is very pricey for what you really get. The atmosphere is great but the emphasis on melted cheese is not really my thing. Lamb was gristly and fatty. One soup was watery and tasteless and the potato soup was good. Bottom line is it’s not worth the money for what should be a great meal.

   I think the food was very pricey and not very good. My stomach was in an uproar this morning. My favorite part was the cheese raclette. I’m a concierge at a hotel in Deer Valley and I have booked so many of our guests here. I was glad I got to experience this, but once is enough! The vibe was very odd! The restaurant is the Empire ski lodge converted into a restaurant at night.

    This was a great and memorable experience. My guests absolutely loved it and I thoroughly enjoyed every course. I managed to restrain myself so as to have room to try everything, but the menu very much catered to my tastes and made that very difficult! Fireside will be a venue I will visit every time I come to the Park City area.

    This was a cool experience with WAY more food than most people can eat in a sitting. I don’t know if I’d go back just because it was expensive given the small volume of food I ate. The vibe was also noisier than expected due to two tables near us with very loud kids.

    It seems to me that in the end it is just a buffet with the fireplace show and for this they charge too much. definitely not worth it. The best thing is the place where the restaurant is located. If you don't want to leave angry at the bill and feel ripped off, better don't go.

    It’s an expensive buffet. Food was fine but definitely not worth the price. For a similar price point you can dine at award-winning restaurants in Park City and not have to wander around a restaurant serving yourself.

    We enjoyed all the food stations except the Poached Halibut and Bouillabaisse. Neither tasted fresh and both lacked flavor. Both looked like they had been sitting for quite some time. Our server was great.

    Could not say enough good things about this experience. I have 2 very picky eaters and they were fully sated at the end of the meal. The service was top notch and I would definitely do the sleigh ride during your dinner to take a break in between courses. Worth every penny!

    Fireside melted cheese, lamb, beef, fish, stews, chocolate, all amazing. The concept and the menu are great. The ambience is a great match with the cozy snow lodge. I enjoy it and highly recommend it, but, because of the steep price of $110 probably more suitable as a special-occasion dinner.

    Massive make shift restaurant with a cheese smelling buffet. Venue is a ski lodge by day, convertible restaurant by night. If you want a ton of food for not a great price then this might be for you. Food wasn’t bad but overall vibe was not for me.

    This is a $110 per person buffet (before wine and assorted taxes and fees.) We went just for the raclette and we had to get up 3 times to get enough cheese to make a meal of it. Very disappointed.

    Our server Jon was the best. The raclette and the lamb were amazing . The prime rib and veal mushroom stew were also all stars! It was very pretty inside .

    After many years the same in deer valley we had not yet been to fireside dining. It was such a treat. Nestled in the mountains the feet of snow the horse drawn sleigh outside and warm fires in every room we were treated to a Swiss chalet type of dining experience. The raclette was outstanding. We really enjoyed the variety of choices and they fondue for dessert was lovely. Food is not fine dining but party and mountain chalet type of cuisine. However the whole atmosphere and package make it in most memorable and unique experience. Would highly recommend

    It’s hard to keep that many good station items perfect but overall our family had such a good time here that we rebooked another night when our son was able to join. It’s perfect ski vacation dinner!
