Excellent service and delicious food! Even the gluten free pasta was perfectly prepared!
Great food. We will be back
We have been eating here for years. We love coming here. We love watching Salvatore run the place, there is always multiple menu items I need to decide between, the wine is good, the service is excellent. If it's a special occasion, it feels special. If it's a bite after a movie, it's perfect. Never a bad evening here.
Food and atmosphere were outstanding....highly recommend this restaurant...Thank you again!
This place is outstanding. Outstanding service, ambiance, food. Everything. This is our go-to celebration/special occasion spot.
Our server looked like he loved his job! His service was effortless, precise. The food was wonderful!
Firenze Ristorante Italiano continues to be the hidden gem of the Eastside.
Forget the pomp and high-rises to the West - If you want delicious authentic Italian, come to Salvatore Lembo’s Firenze and take an epicurean journey back to Tuscany.
Test your sommelier senses and treat yourself to the breadth of their imported, old-country Italian wines.
I HIGHLY recommend their Tortelinni alla Panna for an richly divine experience.
Had the Osso-bucco lamb shank last night...OMG was that good. This place isn’t the fanciest place to dine but if you are looking for a nice little neighborhood Italian restaurant where the food is really good and the price is right, this is it.
All was charming and nice with exception of food delivery to table which had 2 errors.
Food was tasty, service was nice, and it is conveniently located next to Regal cinema.
Great place with excellent food and home welcomeness.
I have tried many of their items and liked them all but their Bistecca is awesome and what I always order! Reminds me of Florence!
Excellent service and delicious food cooked to perfection.
This is such a sweet spot with incredible food. The service is spectacular. Really a perfect place!
We went to Firenze for an early dinner for New Years Eve. Our reservation was for 7pm, we arrived and were seated promptly. We were out of there before 8. We felt totally pressured to eat fast and get the heck out of there so the next people could get our table. The service was prompt, but perhaps a bit too prompt!! Our server offered us bread when we sat down and then we were charged $3 for it. (would have been nice to know there was a charge). The food was ok. We love Italian food and this was just pretty good, nicely prepared but not a lot of flavor. We probably will not go back.
Excellent menu, real Italian food, probably the best in Bellevue area. Service was a bit off, usually it is not like that. I think it was because restaurant was crowded in new year eve.
$25 wine corkage fee is a bit much and not worth it. Service was slow and not great as there were numerous mistakes made. Food was nothing special so do not recommend this place.
Very friendly staff and great service. The food was very tasty and would definitely recommend.
Service was terrible - felt like wait staff catered to those who looked like "regulars" at this restaurant. Food was good but not great for the price.
I hope dinner is better than lunch as the only edible item was the bread. We expected much better based on other reviews so maybe it was a bad day for them.
Fun, convivial atmosphere - feels like you're in a large dining room of a home. Really warm and intimate, but not cheesy or kitschy. The food is pretty good too (their Bolognese and quail are 👍).
We’ve been coming and loving Firenze for years and routinely get greeted with hugs by the owner. The real reason for all the mixed reviews is that the food and service used to be consistently great but that is no longer the case. It is now VERY hit and miss and even when they are ‘on’ the food is not what it used to be. They’ve lost many key long time employees from the front of the house and obviously from the back of the house as well. Dishes that were perfect and identical year after year are now just ok. They take reservations via open Table but don’t pay any attention to them. If they have space it is fine but when they are busy a confirmed reservation means nothing. I’m afraid Salvatore, the gregarious owner, is paying a bit too much attention to socializing and eating/drinking at his restaurant than he is to making sure things are good.
Great small cozy establishment. Restaurant was very busy, but our server was able to provide friendly, sincere service. Food was ready quickly (almost too quick). Would definitely go back.
We were seated in about fifteen minutes after arriving, after finally being noticed by the staff. A family that came in shortly after we did left after no one noticed there were customers in the foyer. The service was very good, but the food was slow in coming, we heard a “get your orders in soon because the kitchen has a long list” from one of the staff. My order arrived wrong but our waitress noticed it immediately and brought the missing items. The food was good, none of us (4) were unhappy with our selections. If we have dinner in the area again we will probably consider returning to the restaurant.
I can honestly say it was the worst meal from salad to entree that I have ever experienced in a restaurant. The worst ever!!! I am baffled by the high rating. Must be a bunch of old farts that have no taste buds anymore. And the kicker.... it’s not that cheap!
Booked table for 5 but were asked to squeeze 5 on table for 4. Really loved food here. Owner is great guy. Had to wait extra 20 minutes to get check paid after giving waitress our credit cards. Food very good so will return.
All in our party thoroughly enjoyed the dinner at Firenze. The waitress was a real peach and made us smile. The food on offer for SRW was a good value and was very tasty. We all agreed we would go back again. The pizza coming out sure looked good.
started off poor, ended great. There was no host . We arrived 4 min early . We then waited a total of 18 min at front desk without acknowledgement. After the first 10 min, not seeing an employee in sight, we sought out the restroom. There was one table awaiting service. When we returned, a server then greeted the table of guests yet continued to ignore us for 8 minutes more. We located some menus and found the seattle restaurant week menu as well at the host stand. Had we been more familiar with the area, I’d have gone elsewhere at this point.
The waiter eventually seated us and left menus without the restaurant week offerings and took ours.. I asked for ours back stating that they had the restaurant week menu in them. He was surprised , “ oh, they were inside”? I felt that it was the intention to not advertise restaurant week or provide offerings unless specifically asked.
The restaurant filled up after that. We did wait for another table to be greeted, seated, and served drinks well before we were offered an order. We were never offered beverages or bread. Yet, from there , things are good. Friendly service, great food. Reasonable wait times. We had to ask for plates to share or appetizer.
They had only one visible front end employee. He worked hard and was friendly. Food was fabulous!
The menu had great selections but the words were small and in italics therefore hard to read in dim lighting's. Overall, I will highly recommend this place for wine selection and Italian food
Authentic Italian, good service & welcoming informative staff
Firenze is our neighborhood favorite. As always tonight the food was fabulous. But the service tonight was deplorable. We sat for almost half an hour before even getting menus, another 20 to order, and another 15 to get our drinks. I have never had an experience like this at Firenze. Staff just kept walking by our table.
Solid, traditional Italian restaurant. Good variety of pasta dishes and good wine list at reasonable prices.
Would be good for families.
Food was okay... it took 30 minutes to get our check though and they weren’t even busy. It’s almost like they wanted us to stay and spend more money because they walked by multiple times. Wouldn’t go back due to service and subpar food. Also ambiance was okay but definitely an older place
This is one of the of the nicest Italian places in our area. We discovered it after returning from The Italy and Florence itself and wanted Italian food that was authentic....we found it here. Wonderful family owned place with excellent food without driving into Seattle.
Ok ambiance inside and on the terrace for a strip shopping area. Tasty salads, pizzas and pastas. We enjoyed the prawns in red pepper wine sauce, salmon with lemon and capers and bone in pork chop Marsala. Good wine list, but server forgot our son’s ice tea. When we asked he was a bit brusque telling us they were brewing it. Could’ve told us that up front I felt. This was our second visit and we’ll probably return.
This restaurant is a neighborhood gem! Excellent food, celebrated a birthday with the excellent chicken Gorgonzola. Always a treat!
Sorry, but this is not 5 star Italian. Yes, the place is dated and in a strip mall - that's OK. Sure service was poor because they were understaffed and only had one server - things happen, I get it. But for me the reason I won't be going back is simply the food. While nothing was horrible, everything was mediocre at best. We had the meatball appetizer, Caesar salad, Gnocchi, and Linguine with clams. Nothing good there. Even the bread, which seems like it was homemade (thumbs up) was not great. Having dined at some fantastic Italian restaurants in Seattle - Pink Door, Carmine's, Barolo... this place doesn't come close.
We were treated to sparkling wine to celebrate the 27th anniversary of Firenze. Food was excellent, wine good and atmosphere very pleasant.
Dinner was wonderful and staff treated you as family. Will definitely return.
Always a good meal. Thank you!
