Great location and ambiance. Food is elaborate and a bit on the heavy side.
Great food and good service
Best ambiance, service and food in town! Very cozy.
New chef is fabulous- great sauces accompanied every dish
The food and service were great. We felt very safe eating indoors as seating accomplished social distancing. We would definitely go back.
Absolutely love the brussel sprouts, good flavor. the seabass was really good with nice presentation. crab bisque is bit watery, so was the seafood stew.
Service was good. not many tables were occupied. we got full attention.
First time there and the food was absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back.
The food and whole experience was fantastic. Can’t wait to go back.
Fantastic food and a quiet intimate setting for a Valentines date. Service was spectacular and fun. Hats off to the chef. Try the Bread Pudding! Best I've ever had.
Made reservations for 2 at 6:15 on Sunday. I was meeting a person for the first time and I traveled 35 miles to have dinner not too far from where she lived. It was closed. It was taking reservations, it said it was open online but the lights were out and I guess they forgot to tell anyone they were not open. Come on how about a little common courtesy and keep your place up to date or shut down the ability for anyone to make a dinner reservation that could also solve the problem.
Great place we will definitely be back what a great menu to lots of choices and everything so far has been fabulous we have gone twice and ordered takeout
The service was wonderful, the ambiance perfectly elegant, and attention to covid protection very good. The food was wonderful and we are bringing friends to experience this in a few weeks!
Delightful evening...great food, wait staff excellent! Would highly recommend.
Delicious food and wine in an incredibly relaxing atmosphere. So enjoy this restaurant.
Had a great time at firehouse bistro. Hadn’t been there and we were looking for something new while still able to be socially distanced. The evening was enjoyable and exceeded expectations!
Great family owned restaurant, cozy and very friendly. Food is delicious and service is very attentive.
They seemed to be a little short staffed, but that being said, the food outweighed that hands down!
The food was shockingly good - the three of us either salmon or sea bass. The salmon I had was among the best I’ve had in years. Really a stellar food experience. Asparagus was cooked perfectly. Highly recommend this place.
didn’t feel very COVID safe - “outside” is not really outside
for some of the tables.
The best. Staff welcoming. Atmosphere is perfect
Always great service and great food. The new outdoor area is well set up. Thanks
Great cuisine, service, ambience and valuw. So glad to have you back open.
I am upset that I didn't get 100 point reward for eating here. Please review and give
the credit. As long as you deny me my deserved reward, I will no longer dine here and
will tell friends to avoid. Please reply.
Valentine’s Day dinner a day later (15th)
Had been to this venue when it was a previous restaurant
Love the interior decor - felt comfortable but formal clubish but personal
Great service not overbearing considering the small space
Dishes are presented in a very professional manner and the food itself is fantastic
Full bar is quite a pleasant surprise
Very charming and quaint place. Food was average- perhaps due to Valentines Day and busy evening for them.
Excellent for date night. Quiet and cozy. Great service. Homey. Food is only average though
The food was delicious and they tweaked a dish for us as we are pescatarians. The service was excellent from the waiter to the water/busboy. We eat here often but they outdid themselves for Valentines Day!
What a thoroughly disappointing experience. On the plus side, The physical restaurant is charming and conducive to conversation. The food is of good quality, and it’s presentation is attractive. But that is where the upside ends. The cuisine itself is a curious mix of either very odd tastes or extremely bland ones lacking any excitement. The chef’s taste buds must be questioned. And then there is the price of a meal. One is willing to spend the same for truly good fare, but not for this.
Love this place. My sole complaint is they keep it really dark and it's hard to read the menu. Otherwise, it's a local favorite.
We enjoyed our food very much and that it was quiet enough that we could easily carry on conversation. Perhaps our server could have checked in sooner to take our order and dessert order, but other wise was amazing!!
I like be the quaint, charming interior of Firehouse Bistro! The service couldn’t have been better, our food was delicious, and visiting with our friends was very easy. The salmon was exceptional! It was our second visit and we will definitely be back.
The food was good; the table service was very good. Service when it came to payment was, in my opinion, fraudulent. When I entered I told the person who seated us that I planned to use an Open Table reward card. I was not told that the restaurant would not accept the card until the check was presented. I felt that Firehouse pulled a successful Bait and Switch.
Great food and service. Nat is the best. Prepared amazing drinks and was friendly as usual.
Loved the ambiance—very cozy. The food was delicious but not fabulous. The service was only so-so. The wait staff was very friendly but disorganized. There were 2 servers that seemed to be taking care of all the tables together which made things a little chaotic. Overall, I liked this place and will definitely be back!
Great date night out with another couple!
Nice small and quiet venue. You can actually hear each other talk. So many restaurants have terrible acoustics and you can barely hear the person next to you. Love this special place!!!
Such a romantic setting, it has become our spot for date night. An intimate fire lit space with a decor that harkens back to the old days of Woodside when the building was a fire station. The service is wonderful, as is the food. I so appreciate that most of the dishes are gluten free! The lemongrass chicken is my favorite.
We always feel well cared for and wonderfully fed whenever we eat at The Firehouse Bistro. This was no different. From the time we walk in to the moment we leave, we are fed well, allowed time and space to talk, and made to feel welcome and familiar. We love this restaurant.
Really nice atmosphere, restaurant ferels cozy has great service, the food was excellent.
Our first visit and it was surprisingly good food and service for a party of 6. Excellent selection of starters and mains. Kurobuta pork chop, lamb chops, seafood risotto, grilled sea scallops, salmon on cedar, roasted chicken, something for every palate in our group. Bread pudding dessert was very good as well. Decent wine select. Tables near the door get a lot of draft, so if you're sensitive to cold, best to get a table further towards the back. Parking was not an issue, but finding the driveway in the dark, if you're not already familiar with the location can be a bit challenging.
