Staff ignored us for several minutes when we arrived. ( It was not what I would consider busy) when we were finally acknowledged and brought to our table there were no chairs! There were other tables empty but we had to stand and wait while they got chairs for this particular table telling us that the other tables were under reservation. Well, we had a reservation! Food was adequate but nothing I would rave about. I doubt I will be returning there.

We met here as it was a good halfway point for us and our friends. We all had some kind of burger and they were all cooked to order and delicious. Our server was excellent and the place was hoppin. We were right next to the band and it was TOO LOUD to chat. Once another table option opened up the waitress was so kind to offer that we move. It would be an even better spot if the improved their wine list with more variety and not so main stream.

The food and service was good for the busy crowd. I was impressed! We did have a window seat as we requested which was great but due to the door constantly opening and closing from the skiers going in and out, it made it very cold which became uncomfortable after some time. My husband did find a divider to put up to block it but maybe the restaurant can find a better way to eliminate some of cold by limiting the doors people enter/exit or create some other kind of barriers to block the cold. Overall, we had a great enjoyable evening with friends and our kids loved the skiing!!

When we arrived for lunch we were told they were short staffed and that we would not get served without a reservation. We made a reservation online for an igloo later in the day. When we arrived for our reservation we could not get anyone to help us. A girl "watching the door" in the host's absence couldn't seat us right away, she had to ask someone else what to do. When we sat down no one came to our table for 10 minutes, and when she did all she asked was if we had a reservation. We answered yes and she said she would be back with set ups. After an additional 10 minutes she never returned and we ended up leaving. The igloo was an additional charge of $15/hr and we had already been in it for 20 minutes with no sight of service! The lack of service was unacceptable in my opinion. I saw no leadership. This restaurant was open on a winter day at a ski resort, all staff should have been ready for a busy day, and if people were sick, others should have been called in. I had visited this restaurant in the past and had a great experience but this time that was not the case. I hope they can work out the kinks in order to have a successful season, I can't imagine how much business was lost this day.

The restaurant was very busy as it was the first big snow of the year. Servers and bar tender were very busy and seemed annoyed to have to seat us, even though we had a reservation. However when Sierra took over as our server the evening improved. She was attentive and friendly, even though flustered from our party being thrown at her before she even took her coat off to start her shift. She was amazing and the food was delicious too!

We had a great time and rented one of the outdoor igloos which definitely made us a bit more comfortable dining out during a pandemic. The server was very attentive and we didn’t have to wait very long for anything. The food was good and we enjoyed the table side s’mores. We had a great time and had no complaints!

Meal was not worth the price..service was VERY poor..we were seated in a room with 41 people & 1 waitress who only had to bring us drinks, salad or soup & a plate of shrimp. There was 1 busboy who was trying to clear dirty dishes from tables. I do understand that a lot of restaurants r understaffed..but if u don’t have the help..don’t book all the tables. After about a 20 min. Wait for someone to ask what we wanted to drink, we asked about service. Answer was..”it’s a buffet”..u can eat before salad or shrimp r served”..at that point, we were ready to leave!!..waitress then came & took drink order..from 4-5 tables at same time..no individual attention.
Food was satisfactory, but when food trays were empty, it took a while to refill. Person at carving station was responsible, but was busy carving..disorganized!

First if I'd known it was on a second floor no elevator I wouldn't admit it reservations for the women we had with us who were 89 and 87 years old. So we were able to make it up there your railings are desperate need of some repair cuz nails are sticking out. We get seated and we can accept the noise level just wasn't sure what it was going to be. Go up to get our Buffet half of the stuff was missing because they had and refilled it. Very chaotic as far as the serving was concerned what they did was good because they had personality. Once the food was all filled and we got our food or Sal has finally came halfway through a seating. The shrimp was horrible it's like it had been over cooked and said around way too long when you went to peel the shell it's mushy and got into your fingernails fresh cooked shrimp is not mushy you should snap when you eat it. Also when I says I'm to the waitress about it she said in response the shrimp isn't supposed to be cook. The amount for the meal I believe was fair it's just the presentation somehow got lost. I don't know if they had a bunch of new waitstaff or they pull people in at the last minute but there wasn't an organization that would have caused Less Problems. But your wait staff is very nice. Thank you very much

We did the Thanksgiving buffet and it was great! They controlled the quantities of the expensive items like clam chowder and shrimp cocktail, but the quality of the food was great and quantity was abundant at the buffet. They had something for everyone -- turkey (dark & white), rib roast, eggplant lasagna, all the traditional Thanksgiving sides, kids items, desserts. It was an outstanding value and we'll definitely do it again next year. It was clean and the waitstaff was attentive. This was our first time eating at Fire at the Ridge and we can't wait to go back for a "normal" meal.

This buffet was adequate at best. The clam chowder was excellant however the shrimp were not firm but soft indicating too much time since harvesting. The buffet was okay however the food was not hot. The carving station was to have rib eye but was more eye of the round that was cooked too much. Medium at best. There was no horseradish sauce for the meat and when I asked the server I was brought a cup of horseradish.
Overall not a good experience

I went to the Halloween party last night and was very disappointed. Our reservations were for 6, but they didn't even start offering appetizers until 7:15. There was not enough food choices, they offered chicken, beef, risotto and green salad. That's it. No other options for main or side dishes. I'm not a vegetarian, but they should have at least had an option for them besides salad. I have been to many buffet style events over the years, and they all have had much more food than this with multiple sides like potatoes, cheese platters etc. To top it off, it didn't even taste good! The beef was so tough you practically needed a chainsaw to cut through it, and nothing was seasoned properly. Our server left trash on our table from the appetizers and didn't bother to clear our dinner plates until after dessert was served. We weren't even offered clean silverware for dessert. If this were a cheap buffet I would have dealt with it, but at over $60 per plate I expect better...$224 for 4 people and we didn't drink alcohol. On the plus side, the restaurant is pretty and was decorated nicely for the occasion, fun music and I enjoyed seeing everyone in their costumes.
