Presentation and plating of courses was outstanding. Service was very good with the added assurance that he would ensure the chef was aware of my gluten intolerance. The seabass was not only an accurate portion but also prepared very well with excellent accompaniments. The beet salad was very good also.

Dinner was delicious and the service was spectacular. Enjoyed a great bottle of wine, and the finn and porter steak and lobster, as well as some after dinner ports. It was quite, which had us nervous in the beginning, but that was a great bonus.

My wife I went to the Finn & Porter in Austin, TX on New Year's Eve. It was a pre-fix menu - the food was pretty good, though not as good as I expected for the price, and the portions were very small. The service was terrible - we didn't get our wine until after the first course arrived and the main course came before the salads. Also, despite having a reservation, we had to wait over 30 minutes to get seated. Overall, not a great dining experience.

We had an 8:00pm reservation for 2 and we showed up at 7:55pm. The hostess told us that our table would be ready in like 10 mins or so and to wait in the bar upstairs. At 8:13pm, we went back downstairs and the hostess told us that she called us like 5 mins ago on my cell phone and since I did not get back to them in 5 mins, she gave our table away!!! I could not have heard my cell phone ring in a noisy bar...they should have sent someone upstairs to tell us our table was ready. It was New Years Eve and they had a four course meal for 85.00/person. Food was good, however, it took forever to get our drinks, they must have been understaffed since our waitress was responsible for working like 8 tables at once. Not a good time overall.

A group of us learned that F n P was to have a nice Prix Fixe dinner for New Years Eve. We utilized the private room they offer and enjoyed an eclectic delicious dinner. Added treat: a "Threesome" desert, so we did not have to choose!!

I celebrated my anniversary here, and it worked out just right. The restaurant is quiet and romantic, the food is superb, and the service is commendable (thanks to our server Miguel). We will definitely visit again.

Went for Half Price Sushi Happy Hour with my two boys, 2 & 5. They loved it and Jack the sushi chef was very accommodating with their requests. They wanted to try different types of sashimi and he made suggestions and cut everything in a kid friendly size. The staff was awesome as well and took very good care of us even though we were seated at the sushi bar. Highly recommend and will definitely be back! Also, I ordered the amazing Brocoli salad and the scallops. Beautiful and delicious plates!
