Restaurant was almost completely empty, yet we were asked to go to the waiting area before being seated. The food was really the worst part of the experience. Bread was hard and dry. Drinks were watered, even a diet pop. House Chianti was decent. Pasta (spaghetti and ravioli) was overcooked and way too salty. Special (a beef “tips” with flat noodles dish which only one of us had) was full of grizzle, fat and almost inedible. Caesar salad was tiny and filled with romaine core, not even inner leaves but brown roots. For $200 we could have gone to Olive Garden and ate like kings. One shining spot in the experience was our server Reed. He was awesome, accommodating and green. Beware of this place. Classic Vegas overpriced, gross and unnecessarily snooty crud.
The food was outstanding!
Our group eats her each year we're in Las Vegas. Food is always try good along with the service. We don't like to be in the section along the walkway as it's too noisy.
We ate at this restaurant prior to seeing Ka. The food was excellent, as was our service. My only complaint is that it was a bit cold in the restaurant.
They were short wait staff, so our poor waiter had a party of 12 plus 6 tables. We didn’t mind since we were not in a hurry. Food is good but anytime you eat in the hotels in Vegas it is pricy. I would good back. Bar and wine list are exceptional.
We were staying at the MGM and walked passed here on our way back from the pool. The hostesses were a little rude when we inquired about a reservation, but when we returned everyone was great. We had an awesome waiter. The food was fantastic! Barramundi and steak. The tiramisu was delicious. I would return!
Everything was delicious!!
Service was outstanding!
Went with a large group prior to seeing a show. The service was exemplary and the cocktails were excellent. The Burrata was a great starter that the table enjoyed and I went with Raviolini that were delicious but very rich. Then finished with the chocolate bread pudding and if you enjoy chocolate than this is the dessert for you.
Overall it was a great dining experience with excellent service, amazing food and really good drinks.
Great dinner with excellent service by or server David!!! For starters we had the meatballs which were excellent, so tender and seasoned perfectly and the Caesar salad was the best! For entrees my husbands lasagna was the best he has ever had and my pesto kale fettuccine with chicken was excellent they even added some peppers to spice it up for me.
The restaurant was loud but that is Vegas. The only complaint I have is they took my plate away before I was finished.
Great bartender and staff.
Delicious food and great service. The homemade spaghetti was wonderful and the desserts were amazing. Highly recommend the chef menu option.
the food was excellent especially the raspberry pistaschio dessert - the service was spot on - everyone was very friendly - we dined at the restaurant twice and both times were very pleased
My husband and I are here on a trip to Vegas. I was a bit worried because some of the reviews I read said that the staff were not friendly and the food just ok. It is a bit on the pricey side but the food was delicious. My husband had the raviolini. His was quite disappointed with the portion size as it was small and he’s a big eater so if you’re the same make sure you order an appetizer. The pasta will not be enough. The clams and linguine was excellent. For me the portions were perfect. After eating way too much all week it was nice to have a regular size meal. The restaurant was lovely and overall a nice experience.
The food was very good but the best part was they went OVER AND ABOVE to accommodate my wife's dietary needs. We called in advance to see if they could prepare something and they not only took care of it, but did so in a very special way. My only 'minor' thing is that my lasagna bolognese could have been served a little bit hotter, but then again I like my food very hot.
Great birthday dinner in Vegas. Service was great and food was phenomenal!
The food was great and the waiter we had was terrific. Too bad the hostess was very cold and stuck up when we entered. We didn’t get a good first impression. Why would such a good restaurant hire a cold stuck up hostess to greet their guests
Service was spotty even though the restaurant was not busy. But the food was outstanding. Great cioppino. The pork chop fabulous. Several had the sea bass and said it was terrific. Highly recommend this restaurant for the food and it’s right next door to the theater where Ka is playing so if you are going to the show this is a perfect choice.
The food and service was amazing. I would highly recommend FiAMMA to everyone!
I am known for my linguini and clam sauce so I never order it out. However I did here and it was fabulous. Loved the tomato butter too.
Good food and service.Only downside is no bathroom directly in restaurant and its relatively close proximity to the casino area.
Excellent food and service.
We went here after seen KÀ. I had made the reservation via open table for 945pm once I realized the show end time I went back and made the change to 9pm on open table. When I got there the hostess was less than charming and with an attitude said that we had to wait till 945pm even thought 2/3 of the restaurant was empty an available. I showed her my confirmation from Open table that it shows it was confirm for 9pm, at this time it’s 8:50pm. She took a deep breath and sighted and pointed us to a waiting area. When she came to get us she just said follow me if you want to be seated.
We sat down and places our order. Once the food arrive they had brought me the chicken parm when I had order the Spaghetti Chittarra. So I waited for my order to be correct. The meatballs where if anything of low quality. There where bone fragments in the meatballs to the point that i chipped a tooth. The sauce was gross, it took me back to when I was a child and my mother would feed me Chef Bordagee. I thought great $30 for a can of Chef Bordagee, at least their meatballs don’t have bone fragments in them. When it came to the service, well I felt I was in school raising my hand trying to get the attention of anyone that could bring me a refill or another drinks or any assistance what so ever. Don’t waste your money or time, not worth the hassle.
Early reservation so there was almost no wait. Our server was attentive and made sure everything that we ordered was perfect. Great atmosphere! Will return on next trip to Vegas!
We had a reservation for 10:15pm on a Friday night. We were seated immediately, but as soon as our server, Erika, came over she said "the kitchen closes at 10:30, so I need to take your order now". After only about 2 minutes to look over the menu, she took our order. Our food came pretty quickly, and as soon as we ate, we were given our checks. Erika was rude and seemed pretty upset with us that we were there at that time. We were never even given a dessert menu. We were in and out of FiAMMA in 45 minutes. Not exactly an enjoyable dinner with friends. We stay at the MGM at least once a year, and have gone to FiAMMA every time, but unfortunately, we will not be returning after this. The food was delicious, but the service was definitely lacking.
Our server Erica seemed extremely unhappy that the restaurant took a reservation for 10:15pm. *Not the customers fault*
She had serious attitude from the very beginning and totally rushed us. She also never offered a dessert menu of course. We ordered, ate and paid our bill all within 45 minutes... as if we were in a fast food establishment.
For this type of restaurant, this is totally unacceptable service. I’ve owned multiple restaurants in California. Honestly she was out of line and was very lucky to receive a tip and not a complaint to the management instead. I understand Vegas is Vegas, but I was a returning guest who has recommended Fiamma often. Sad to say I will not any longer.
Would come back in a heart beat just wish they had the carpaccio with sliced mushrooms arugula and this amazing sauce the chef made. I know its seasonal but man was it good and the seafood risotto with scallops and prawns is my absolute favorite.
Ravioli i is amazing!!! Staff is knowledgeable and friendly.
We visited Fiamma after an event at MGM. Our group ordered two different types of salads and both were very good. Portions are small though, so don't plan to share. Main course entrees were Gouda Mac and Cheese, Chicken Parm, and seafood pasta. The chicken parm was average at best, the other dishes were good. Service on the other hand was awful with long waits between seeing anyone to assist with requests. Also, the server wasn't intuitive. One of our group shared a dish and the server brought no extra plate. When requested, it took nearly 10 minutes to bring a plate back. The server also cleared all of the utensils from one guests setting then delivered food and it too took 10 minutes and an ask from another server to get something to eat with. Maybe it was just a bad night, but we wouldn't give them a second chance.
The only bummer is that the restrooms are not in the restaurant and not all that close--through the casino. The pear endive salad was pretty great, the sea bass was just ok. Pretty expensive for standard fare.
This was my second visit to FiAMMA Italian Kitchen and must say overall it was good but could use some major service improvements. It took 90 minutes to have a one course meal on a Tuesday night (although restaurant was very busy). I could forgive that if not for having to flag down a server to get a drink refill twice. I passed on dessert and just asked for the check since I knew that would take another hour. The positive was that the lasagne bolognese entree was very good. Overall, I would skip this restaurant next time I need to dine in MGM Grand.
Very good meal. They were able to accommodate a party of 8 the day of since we forgot to make reservations. Server was awesome.
Business meal. Erratic service. Some meals were very small portions some were large
Very nice dining experience with great attention to detail. A bit pricey for pasta, but a worthy expenditure.
Caleb was a very nice gentlemen that stopped by the table several times to make sure we were taken care of.
We were seated near the front so it was loud as we could hear the casino and other bars, and smell the smoke too.
Wine list was great and food was awesome!
Our waiter Joseph (sp?) was amazing and well versed with the food items on the menu. We asked him several questions and he was able to answer them all.
The salads were great and the encore was something that we had never tried but was so flavorful and just the right amount of spice!
An unexceptional meal
Very nice evening before seeing a show. The wine specialist was on point 100%.
Very tasty food. Friendly and attentive staff.
