In 1940, Adele and Ellis Ferris determined to share their hospitality with more than their family and friends. they wanted to reach out to serve the Cleveland community that had welcomed them with open arms. Adele and Ellis wanted to create a legacy for their children, grandchildren, and generations that would follow that would bring them pride all their days.
Starting out in Cleveland on Detroit Rd. Ferris Steak House became a favorite dining place for people from all across the city and outlying suburbs.

                                                                                            The salmon was done to perfection and the blackened chicken tortellini was delicious! Wanted to take half home for leftovers but that didn’t happen! The house dressing was one of the best we’ve ever had. Highly recommend!

                                                                                            Wine menu online does not match the wine menu at the restaurant. Wine selections and prices were different. This irks me. Keep the online menu updated to the restaurant menu, the selections and prices are not even close.

                                                                                            Highly recommend Ferris Steakhouse for one of the best Delmonico steaks I ever had . All the food was delicious and my Raspberry Lemon Drop martini was unique and awesome. I can’t rave enough about the stellar service from Ellie.

                                                                                            We had a wonderful evening out! Ferris Steakhouse was awesome and had the perfect and enjoyable atmosphere. We were able to talk and hear each other, all while enjoying delicious meals! We will be back! Thank you Bruce and staff for a wonderful evening!

Jumbo fried shrimp were larger and tastier than I have had in years. Combined with a perfectly cooked rare filet. Partner's filet was great as well. Good food, good service, good value. Can't go wrong at Ferris.

                                                                                            Unfortunately not a good experience aside from our server that was great. We were seated at a small two top table wedged in the middle of two larger tables so we were literally right on top of the couple next to us despite that there were many other tables open at the time. We both ordered medium Delmonico steaks, however mine came out well done. Overall, the price was not worth the experience and honestly just disappointed.
