Great food and atmosphere. Our waiter was fantastic-very attentive and friendly. Being from out of town, feel we found a local gem!
I am a regular at Ferris and usually
Would give it 5 stars. I am hoping it was just an off night when we dined there this time
Our waiter was outstanding. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and right on top of providing outstanding service. The food was great.
Very average and pricey. I know it’s a steakhouse and the price to quality just wadnt there. 3 out of 4 people in my group were not pleased.
Betty was fantastic. She explained all the specials and was able to answer all of our questions.
She respected our time and conversation.
Our food was delivered with perfect timing.
Her personality was uplifting.
Strip steak was dry, bland and tough,
not to mention medium/medium-well instead of medium rare as ordered...worst steak I have ever tasted, but didn't see any point in complaining as I wasn't interested in receiving a dry bland tough medium rare steak at that point.
I have had better salads at fast food restaurants. Thought 3 scallops was a bit overpriced as a $20 appetizer. At least my girlfriend enjoyed her birthday meal. Dessert was good. Presentation was nice.
How is it that the filet and broccoli at Outback steak house is half the price and actually better tasting? That is embarrassing. The broccoli was over cooked and under seasoned. My medium filet was medium well at best hardly pink at all in the center. Also bland. Such a disappointing meal.
We had a party of 5 and was seated in the northern main dining area. Linda was our server and was very knowledgeable with the menu and was super pleasant. Linda made sure we were well taken care of and even let us mix & match the dinner combinations. The food was cooked exactly as we asked and the drinks (martinis) were outstanding! Highly recommend!
Excellent service. Delicious food. Expensive, but worth it. I ordered my filet medium rare and it wasn't the least bit pink inside. More like medium. Everyone else was happy with their meal
food was excellent. the server was prompt even when the place was jumping with multiple parties.
Very expensive for not good food. We had a party of 4 and not one of us enjoyed our meal. The server greeted us with “what do you want” not great service at all. We all had steak and none of them were seasoned, we had to season our own food basically. The prime rib looked gray and the food was maybe average at best. They did have entertainment that was good but that was the only thing good about the place. Very disappointed with this place .
First time at this location. Very impressed with the food. Service was a little bad. But otherwise I would return
The dining room was a little on the dark side.
I Have Frequented Steak Houses Across The U.S. Including The Original Ferris (Which Was Outstanding). Not A Good Father's Day Experience. Took 2 Bites Of Soup & Salad & The Meals Immediately Came Out W/An Apology. Waitress Said "Sorry They Came Out Too Fast". So Needless To Say The Meals Were Warm To Cool At Best.My Wife's Chicken Was Absolutely Terrible (Like Rubber) Although They Did Replace W/Salmon Which Was Good But We Basically Ate Separately. My Delmonico Steak Was Absolutely Horrible. I Am Familiar W/Steak Prep & Cooking & Have Had Many Delmonico's. It Was Par Boiled (Grey Color & Barely Touched The Grill) No Doubt And Zero Flavor. Although It WAS Tender & Cooked Medium As Ordered. Waitress Went Above & Beyond But She Couldn't Help The Quality Of Food & Prep. We Support Local But Unfortunately We Were EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. Many Steakhouses Across The Country Far Exceed Ferris. But Even Locally Delmonico's, Harry's, Morton's & Even Chains Like Longhorn & Roadhouse Are Much Better In Qualiy & Preparation. We Were Extremely Disappointed & Unsatisfied.! My Wife Felt Bad Because This Was Her Father's Day Gift To Me. It Was Her First & Last Visit.
Well prepared traditional steaks and American cuisine. Not inventive but tasty and a good value.
Great food, excellent service. Thanks Mike!
Everyone was very congenial, attentive and professional
Excellent and tasty steak. The food was excellent! We would return again. My husbands gin and tonic was a little weak but my cocktail was perfect.
I had the prime rib, it had excellent taste, and cooked to perfection. Exactly as I requested! My wife at the surf and turf, and she gave me a taste of her fillet. Easy one of the best fillet I’ve ever eaten. Fantastic evening had by all!
This was an incredibly disappointing meal. Went to Ferris steakhouse for a special dinner while my family was in town for the weekend. I'm not a picky guest & rarely complain about food but this was one of the worst meals I've eaten in a long time. French onion soup was way too salty, my medium rare steak was dry & tasteless, my dad's prime rib was flavorless, loaded mashed potatoes were average at best, rolls looked like grocery store hamburger buns. Plus, to top it off, the meal was very expensive - any other restaurant in that price range in the Cleveland area serves top notch food - sadly that was not the case here. Would strongly recommend avoiding Ferris Steak House.
Normally stick with the ribeye but last night tried the filet with scampi's - delicious. Unlike every other place I have tried in Cleveland, Ferris uses real scampi's and not shrimp The filet of course was wonderful as well.
Great service, good food, good value, nice atmosphere.
Great service. The prime ribs was outstanding. Definitely recommend it.
Mediocre- unfortunately. Spent a lot of money for a Steakhouse that wasn’t worth it. My Strip steak was most definitely cooked past the medium rare I had ordered- the server did not agree and no action was taken to correct it. Everything we were missing/ salad and bread was someone else’s fault. At one point s frantic worker removed a chair from our table without acknowledgment or even asking.
Waitstaff was understaffed for a Saturday night. Our waitress was nice but nothing knowledgeable about wine and couldn’t suggest a good bottle of red. Mediocre food. Felt very catering hall. The rolls were right out of the bag from the grocery and the appetizer was overpriced at $16.50 for 3 of the smallest scallops. The salad was iceberg lettuce and the coffee was cold. Better when they were on Detroit. I won’t be returning
Chris was incredible, food and drinks were awesome! thank you for helping to make my 50th birthday a great celebration!!!!
The ribs were excellent. The sauce was special too.
All of the food was cold except for the prime rib and ham also I went to the desert table to get one of the cups looked like chocolate and strawberry there was one chocolate one left that didn’t look very good I asked the girl when they were gonna bring more out and she said sorry they aren’t bringing anymore out for this sitting....wasn’t aware there was a sitting and only so much was allowed out for each sitting when you are paying for a buffet the food listed in the price should be available
Went for Mother’s Day brunch buffet. Place was PACKED. This is a global pandemic and they had us I there like sardines. They had 4 seating times, ours was at 10am first seating of the day. They asked us to social distance in the line for the buffet but there were no markers and were no shields or sneeze guards on any of the food. Looked it up when I got home because I was curious. Ohio law requires shields and/or sneeze guards on all food right now. The hot foods were served to us in line, the rest was self serve. Never once saw the serve ware changed or sanitized. Now on to the food. Prime rib was actually really good. Well cooked perfectly pink. Rest of the food was what you expect from a 1 star hotel banquet hall. Bland to say the least. Also eggs were powdered. We paid $40+ a plate. Buy some real eggs please. Honestly my only regret at this point was not taking my family elsewhere when we saw how packed they were. I heard this was their first time with a buffet. But still no excuse.
Andy, our server was great! He made excellent recommendations and didn’t miss a beat with us. We had our baby with us and he made her feel welcome too. Great date night!!
Very accommodating, great service, great food. Definitely worth it. Will return. Highly recommend!!!
Great food. Our waiter "Adam" was wonderful. We can't wait to comeback and dine on the patio.
The absolutely worst steak house I’ve ever been too... Took my fiancé and my kids there for her birthday and the steaks had zero flavor and were very tough. Mixed drinks were horrible, potato wasn’t hot, salad was only not bad. We dropped $180 and we left very disappointed. We’re always going out of town for find great steak houses and this is one we’ll never come back to. Sorry but sorry
A very nice and quite place. Food was amazing, best steak i’ve ever had! Decent price for the amount of food that you get.
Food was excellent, service was excellent, dining room was a bit loud, tad bit pricey but would recommend to other people and would eat there again.
Great wait staff. Good food. Will return in the future.
The food was delicious, our server was the best, everyone we came in contact with were top notch
This was my first time at this restaurant and the food and service did not disappoint. Would go back again.
