Best Restaurants for Spicy Food in Lewes

Went for my son's birthday, staff very good and mostly attentive. Food was on the whole very good, a few dishes better than others which I guess is not a huge surprise. Concept and interior is fun, kids loved it. A little naff in a few places as quite OTT decoration. It was better than expected though. Marking down mainly on price as I think you can quite easily spend a lot, in hindsight I would probably say the taster menus are worth a look. I avoided those but ended up spending more per head than if we'd just done the most expensive option. I really liked the sushimi, and the sirloin steak was very good. We would go again but I think it's more a special occasion place, as the bill was a little higher than I was expecting.

Excellent evening, with drinks in the garden followed by a delightful dinner in the glasshouse section of the restaurant.

Lovely staff, great atmosphere, accommodating as we asked to move inside as it was windy, great experience all round.

We were fortunate to be able to be out in the glorious garden, at the foot of the Downs, in the sunshine -- absolutely brilliantly looked after by every single member of staff (and the kitchen). Thank you very kindly.
