A rainy, quiet evening in July brought my father and me to this Italian staple in the East Village. The insalata mista and fresh pappardelle I ordered were incredibly delicious and exquisitely prepared. The same goes for the crostini and the grilled Atlantic salmon with eggplant caponata that he ordered. The ambiance here is outstanding, whether you're stopping by for a glass of wine at the bar or settling in for a full dinner at this wonderful local trattoria. Couldn’t have been more pleased with the service, too.

I really enjoyed how much room there is in this place. The tables are comfortable and distanced well, sky high ceilings. They have great mimosa glasses too. They're really thin at the top like a Japanese whisky glass. The space has a lot of natural light. The french onion soup was delicious.
