Best Open Kitchen Restaurants in Tangletown

The food was delicious and flavorful. We tried several dishes and they were all amazing. The ambiance is cozy yet lively, and it feels like an upscale casual neighborhood spot. Really enjoyed it!

Definitely a cut above for North Seattle, sharing very thoughtful crafted dishes with elevated flavors. The roasted carrots with labneh and maple were perfectly executed with a cozy balance of savory, sweet, cream, and crunch. The spaghetti with anchovies and olives was hearty with well-matched umami, brine, and herbal soul. Only downsides here are the small menu -- check before you go for seasonal changes -- and the strange-for-Seattle limited choices for N/A beverages. Would be nice to see at least an N/A brew or wine pour added to the list.

Amazing. A very unique experience that is both intimate but also fosters a sense if community. Staff is very kind and food tastes amazing.

We celebrated a birthday tonight. It was our first time here and we read the rave reviews, but I honestly wasn’t prepared for the exceptional quality. Sometimes high-end restaurants present very “precious“ food and this was not the case. The fish was incredibly fresh, the portions were unexpectedly generous, and the exquisite preparation of each dish balanced color, flavor, texture and true umami. I was in awe. The three of us glanced at each other and smiled, shared bites and tried not to swoon too much. Our server was attentive and gracious. The place is beautiful - again, a lovely balance of gleaming wood, clean lines and concrete walls.  Attention to detail is definitely their strength. We will be back. 

We had a delightful dinner. The ambience is warm and inviting, kind of like feeling the vibe of a northern Italian home. The servers are all genuinely interested in service and the food was authentic. The wine list is true to a laser sharp focus on Nebbiolo, the grape used in Barolo and Barbaresco Wines from the Piedmont region in Italy, although I enjoyed a delicious and crisp Sicilian white blend with my black cod dish. One last thing to mention, we both had tasty rye based Manhattan’s, which were extremely well crafted. I love this place!
