- CCharles E.VIPDallas - Fort Worth •30 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe have been enjoying meals at Winewood since they opened years ago. The food & service have always been good ... but our dinner yesterday was EXCEPTIONAL! We haven't stopped raving about it! Nathan, our server was terrific ... gracious, welcoming, professional, attentive, etc. We will ask for him next time we are at Winewood. He was THAT good. But, without question, the STAR of the evening was the food. Each dish we ordered was of the highest quality in taste and preparation ... EVER. The Scottish salmon (one of our favorites) was THE BEST prepared we have ever had ... and we noted that the deliciously delicate buerre blanc sauce with artichoke hearts was a PERFECT complement to the salmon. Truly divine! Our friends had steaks and raved about how perfectly prepared and delicious they were ... even said they were better prepared than what they had eaten at Bob's recently! The strawberry spinach salad was wonderful ... even the bread we ordered for the table was outstanding! We look forward to our next visit to Winewood and highly recommend it as one of our very favorite restaurants.More infoWinewoodPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Grapevine•4.7

We ordered a bottle of sparkling for brunch and it was served at room temperature in an ice bucket; extremely disappointing for a bottle price. We did order a second bottle and it came out cold.More infoThirsty Lion - Euless, TXPrice: Moderate• American• Dallas-Ft. Worth (DFW) Corridor•4.6
- AAaronDallas - Fort Worth •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoWent to Toro Toro for my birthday dinner. My date and I were sat in a moody booth with a great view of the kitchen. Our server, Kira (?), was friendly and helpful and gave us some suggestions. We started with the swordfish dip and ceviche. If you have to pick between one, absolutely get the ceviche...it reminded me of my trips to CDMX and coastal towns of Mexico with incredible ceviche. We started with cocktails, which were delicious. I got mezcal, wish they had a better selection of mezcal but that's just me being picky. For our main meal, we got the Brussel sprouts, potatoes 3 ways, and the mini-tomahawk cooked medium-rare. There was nothing mini about it...it was just the right amount for 2 people. Kira brought out the tomahawk and seared it in front of us with mezcal then brushed it with rosemary and butter. We split a bottle of Malbec (I think it was from Argentina, can't remember) for the meal which I highly recommend instead of more cocktails. This was easily one of the best meals I've had in a long time. The meat was perfectly cooked, juicy, and the chimichurri that came with it was so good. I couldn't have asked for a better birthday meal. All the vibes were great and the decor is beautiful....I would describe it as Texas Brutalist. Would love to come again to continue celebrating the beauty of sharing a delicious meal.More infoToro Toro - Fort WorthPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Fort Worth Downtown•4.3
