- JJeffDallas - Fort Worth •3 reviews4.0Dined 3 days agoOur usual experience with thirsty lion is that the food is great but the service is not great. Slow to get drinks and food etc. We even saw a couple leave after waiting for their drinks to arrive. I guess it just took too long for them. Having said that the food is always very good which is why we have continued to go back for many years.More infoThirsty Lion - Euless, TXPrice: Moderate• American• Dallas-Ft. Worth (DFW) Corridor•4.5
- CCHARLESDallas - Fort Worth •1 review4.0Dined 6 days agoWe had reservations for 6, but our party ballooned to 9 and they accommodated us with no issues, but then, this was a Wednesday evening and there was plenty of empty tables. The noise level was a bit high for having a decent conversation. Parking - was available in the parking garage around the corner but it was painful to use being unfamiliar - you had to put in a credit card to get in, then use a QR code to access an app in the restaurant to validate it - I believe cameras read your license plate number and connect it to the card you used. It all worked but if you're not familiar with the process it can be confusing. Our waitress was fantastic, no dry glasses, prompt attention but not hovering. The wait for food was a bit longer than I would like - whether on purpose to allow for conversation or some other kitchen matter - as I stated - it was a Wednesday 7PM - not terribly busy. Good ambiance, a bit dark, a bit loud, but over all a good experience. I had one of their specialties - spicy chicken sandwich. Flavor was good - the spiciness not overwhelming the flavor. The bread though, a ciabatta roll, was too dry. It crumbled away making the moist sandwich hard to handle, much less ever put down. A bit more fries would have been nice, the portion given had good flavor. Others in the party had their Mediterranean food bowl, beer cheese soup, Classic Reuben, Smoked Turkey Club, and cheeseburger to name a few. All looked wonderful and had great flavor by all accounts. Overall a good experience. Will probably go again for something different.More infoThirsty Lion - Irving, TXPrice: Moderate• American• Irving•4.3
- MMary AnnDallas - Fort Worth •2 reviews5.0Dined on Jun 14, 2025The food was excellent. The service, the ambience, the beauty of the place was somewhere you want to go back to. As a matter of fact, I went back for Father’s Day gathering the next day. The buffet and the jazz music were just what we needed.More infoJellico’sPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Southlake•3.9
